Mentioned in another thread but I didn't want it to get lost.  

MISSING IN ACTION: Sophomore wide receiver Johnny Peyton missed practice for what Leavitt described as "off-field stuff." Leavitt would not provide further details.

The Pasco High standout, who led the Bulls in receiving as a freshman in 2004 with 469 yards, has had stiff competition from Hillsborough Community College transfer and fellow sophomore Amarri Jackson, who has been getting a lot of work - including special teams.

"(Johnny) has to get some things squared away off the field for me," said Leavitt, who expects Peyton back today. "Johnny's got a lot of talent and skill and can compete with anyone."

There are only a handful of practices left.  There is something to this otherwise he'd be out there.  A good/bad sign will come tonight if I see him out at the scrimmage.

The guy who's really MIA is WR Ishmael Grant.

Hard to believe that the NCAA hasn't made a decision on whether to clear him yet.
