It may have been a winless football season for UCF in 2004, but the Golden Knights had another record year selling jerseys, hats and souvenirs.

UCF revealed that its royalty share of school-related apparel for 2004-05 was $163,968, more than a $16,000 increase from 2003-04. That's more than double what the school reaped from 1998-99, Daunte Culpepper's landmark senior season.

$16,000 increase is not much.  Considering the number of students has increased, the promotions/marketing that they had, and probably the prices increased as well.  They probably spent a good portion of that marketing.  What is laughable is that they only made $163,968 (probably 7% to 7.5% on wholesale).  If they lose every game again this year it will probably still increase 5-10k.
