Guest
There is no Tailgate for the Louisville Game.. Whats up with that? There isn't one being organized for the Cincy game either...These are tailgates organized by the Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Bulls Club (Athletic Association)... We usually don't have an organized tailgate for home games other than Homecoming because so many people tailgate on their own. However, FAMU and UCF are "big" games in terms of the anticipated crowd.FAMU is the first game of the year and will probably be the largest crowd of the year...UCF is a game that expects to draw a large crowd... despite the fact that some on this board disapprove of a "rivalry" with UCF** -- this game has been fairly widely anticipated since we started football in 1997...** NOTE: I am not trying to open this debate; just putting the game in a little bit of context. I ask the Administrators to move any posts that arise discussing the "rivalry" to the USF-UCF board so that this thread can remain on-topic, dealing with the Tailgates. Some people question the $35 price tag but I have been to 2 away games every year and the $35 is well worth the food, beverages and most important of all, the excitement of a couple hundred Bulls fans excited as heck.Spend the buck and join this tailgate! You won't regret it!GO BULLS!

No reason for concern on the part of UL fans.

I dont get that......Maybe if the BE opener had been one of the "fresh" faces rather than a familiar one more emphasis would have been put on it from that standpoint ....... Things could still change, though.
Guest
Louisville is not a big game for anticpated crowd? Big East Opener at Home. I dont get that......1) The 2003 Louisville game drew almost 37,000 people... 2) The main configuration of Raymond James Stadium for USF football (i.e. the lower bowl) is about 41,000 seats. The total capacity is 65,000.3) For FAMU & UCF, USF athletics has a contingency to open the upper deck (meaning they expect to sell out the 41,000+ lower bowl)... and they expect 50,000 - 60,000 for FAMU ...So... Triple B is right... in comparison to FAMU & UCF, no, it's not that big of a crowd...
