Greetings from a Tampa/USF newbie

Well, I'll be entering USF next year to hopefully finish up my batchelors and start work on my masters in history soon. I'm new to the area, but I've actually been in Big East country for a good portion of my life. I've been gradually moving down the east coast. Its refreshing to see some fans here who are excited, yet have a firm grasp of reality. I'm more of a basketball fan myself, but im looking forward to football this season as well. So how are the games at RJS/Sun Dome? Hows the bball team looking?

Speaking of wrestling, I'm not sure you know it but Hulk Hogan went to USF.

Also if you are a hockey fan you can watch the Ice Bulls.

The Basketball team will be better than most people expect, but that might not be enough to win that many games in the Big East. I think most of us would be happy if they just finish in the Top 12 to make the BE tourney.

I grew up in Brooklyn and watched it faithfully on one of the independent channels each week. I don't remember attending any live wrestling matches as a kid. My dad, who had been am amateur boxer, did take me to some fights at the old MSG.
