In other draft news, DeLand High School star Keith Brumbaugh withdrew his name from consideration. Brumbaugh, the state's Mr. Basketball as a senior last season, will sign with a college. According to DeLand Coach John Zeoli, Brumbaugh is considering Nebraska, UF, USF and Oklahoma State, and likely will make a decision within the next two weeks.

for what its worth, walsh and roberson were both guards... so he won't be taking over for either of them... the only thing their leaving does is provide scholarship room.

The 'turds already have a bunch of forwards, but now that they have room, i wouldn't doubt him going there, although my guess is OSU right now.

Yeah, I liked our chances with Roberson & Walsh returning but now that they're commited to the draft, I would put my money on Keith going to UF. I don't see either of these idiots from Florida cracking the 1st round though. There are like 15 good Point Guards in this draft, I dont know why Roberson declared....and Walsh, don't get me started.

Nebraska is a strong candidate, allegedly.

I haven't written him off yet. A chance to be a real star in the Big East with max minutes on an up and coming team will keep us in strong contention.

Just an off topic note... impersonating people, whether for comic effect or not, is against the forum rules.

Don't be surprised if Walsh gets drafted late in the first round (Miami-maybe), he has impressed scouts with his athletic and shooting ability.  I also thought this guy had no business entering the draft, however, he has performed very well in his workouts with NBA teams.

Hopefully, Keith will come to USF and play in the Big East where he can play in some of the biggest TV markets and most likely the best B-ball conference.

I think you are all selling the Big East effect way short.  Whatever we lack in comparison to Florida currently as a program, we make up for in our Big East affilliation....Florida plays in the overrated SEC.
