Edgar Renteria has been struggling thus far in Boston, and the press is really on him for his errors and his low batting average saying he is overpaid.

He's trying to take the attention off of E.R.  That is a true leader.  He may suck, but his attitude is the true reason we came back and won the WS last year.  I'm very happy he's still with the team.

as long as whoever is playing first contributes, i don't care.  Millar will contribute in more ways than one.  His attitude is just as important as the play from 1st base.

Imagine that... Millar might lose his job to Olerud (who is outproducing him right now), AND we didn't have to sell the farm system and pay a fat $10M per year contract to get Olerud from some other team... amazing, huh?

Most of your pitching staff cant play in the cold. Your overpriced BACKUP 1st baseman cant play without a needle in his ass. And your team is coming off the BIGGEST CHOKE in sports history!!

Luckily for us 98% of the baseball season is NOT played in the cold.
