    The one downside of Taggart that I saw was that he was always beaten by teams that had more talent. That's what makes the difference between a coach and a great coach...

    We need Strong here to boost our defense (plus keep recruits) and salvage our offensive coaches to keep our Gulf Coast offense. We will be be almost unbeatable at that point!

    If you guys remember, Strong excelled at Louisville because of his ability to recruit Florida. At Texas his roster was filled with Texas recruits. It is a completely different style of football played in Texas compared to Florida. Florida is all about speed! We are not about power. Strong succeeded at Louisville with speed and will do the same here! That is why Taggart's West Coast offense did not work!

    The fact of the matter is that ECU was outplayed pretty much the whole game and did not deserve to win. There is no reason to pander to a whiny group of ECU fans about calls and missed calls! It left a bad taste in my mouth seeing their coach whining on the sideline about calls and might be why Taggart tried to run up the score. Fact of the matter is they were only penalized twice for 19 yards compared to our 100+. Stop the ********!
