    I would venture to say it was to accommodate those battling the extreme heat. While I respect the idea of protecting the value of club access, letting someone into the club to avoid having a heat stroke isn't that much of an issue to me. That said, I saw people getting tickets checked hard at the NIU game. Even saw the usher chase an offender into the bathroom to check his ticket. Yep.

    My experience varies. They usually take off the caps and keep them. Today, I bought two-liters of water, both were capped. Another time, the person uncapped but let me keep the cap at my request. It just seems like the volunteers don't really care. I know they aren't supposed to let people have the cap, but it's very annoying so I'm going to start bringing my own caps too.

    Plies may not be of significant importance to "us" but the kids love his music so having him as a supporter is a multifaceted big-deal.

    I get that. You have to admit that FSU's loss has an impact on the number of votes to be received. We keep winning, at some point people will catch on. 3 wins, hanging 25 on P5 'Cuse...and still only 7 votes? There's no love (yet).

    Not saying it's impossible though. An undefeated FSU would obviously have a massive influence on our potential ranking...but that's not the case anymore. FSU's bed ******** couldn't have come at a worse time for us.

    According to the recently released polls, even that is going to be a stretch. We received 7 entire votes. #25 OU has 139.

    It was OK to rush the field before FSU **** the bed today. The public FSU luster is significantly reduced now, unfortunately.

    Yep. FSU scheduled Charleston Southern this year. Clemson scheduled Troy this year. Etc. It doesn't matter how big and bad your program is, they still schedule G5 teams.

    I'm pretty sure you'll need an existing cable programming package subscription from an affiliated provider (your friends with Bright house or FIOS might be nice enough to share their credentials with you) in order to watch ESPN3. I'm not aware of an a la carte ESPN3 offering from ESPN directly, yet.

    Agreed. $85 was too much from the start. I think USF got a little greedy, as well as many season ticket buyers. They keep saying only some tickets are left...while that may be true, I suspect the scalpers will be out in full-force.

    Regarding the Gators on the front page of the sports section and Fennely's daily hit-piece commentary (which aren't well written, by the way) on the lack of game attendance, we'll never get to the B12. Oddly enough, last night's game was presented by the Tampa Bay Times. Are they onboard or not? Nothing makes sense.
