    He doesn't... and lack of tradition is no excuse for lack of focus, pride and just doing it the right way. All of these kids have been in marching band before... most of them in good HS programs or they wouldn't have been able to get into the USF school of music... They know what's required. You dont have to be in the SoM to be in the marching band. Hell, you dont have to be a student at USF. You can enroll as a "Non-Degree Seeking Student" at USF and take the class. You don't even have to enroll, you just don't get paid. Do they still offer a stipend? Heck, there wasn't even an audition.

    When has HoT been really good? Not trying to be insulting or anything, I just dont remember any games/performances where they blew me away. That's what's I'm saying... we agree... the personnel in HOT... as a group... do not put in the same effort as FSU's band. I've been in two college marching bands. HoT being one. Insulting or not, both of these statements are valid. Why? The Band is normally a pretty important and respected part of College Athletics and the Gameday Atmosphere.

    Not paint...a nice vinyl banner. It looks tacky, simply put. I'm glad it's not paint. It looks AWFUL. Can we get a pic of this purported monstrosity?

    I don't usually get into recruiting so please forgive my woeful ignorance about AW. Other than he is from Winter Park, won the MVP for Elite 11 and most people on here seem stoked about his commitment, I don't know much about him. The question I have is: Is he a pocket passer or a dual threat QB?

    Not just the spectacular catches, but was it Davis that dropped one of the most perfect passes that I've seen BJ throw on the streak down the far sideline? I never saw a replay but it looked like it him in the hands and in full stride .... and please spare me the "shocked" comments. Didn't Davis also jump over double coverage, snag a pass that should have been an INT and do an incredible job keeping possession of the ball with a defender trying to rip the ball from his hands? I agree with Orlando, I'll give him a pass, he's still a sophomore and has shown a lot of promise otherwise.

    Agree. Davis has it in him to be a playmaker. Comes down to Coaches using their players wisely.
