  1. The energy's pretty good tonight. That makes me excited for what we'll see as the year goes on. Yessir! On the aisle near the top of one of the club sections.
  2. St Leo players were introduced with The Lion Sleeps Tonight playing in the background. The AV crew's off to a strong start.
  3. No gift, yet. I got an email from Athletics a few days ago that included the following line:
  4. While he develops younger players!? What about the players he should have been developing for the past three years? What would change in year four that hasn't already happened? #ThePortal is a single tool in a sea of tools for building and running a football program. It isn't the only tool and certainly isn't the most important one.
  5. The draft is now over. Unless I missed someone while scanning through the picks, 6 Bulls were picked up: Quinton Flowers - Tampa Bay Vipers Sean Price - Dallas Renegades Quinterrius Eatmon - Seattle Dragons Deatrick Nichols - Houston Roughnecks B.J. Daniels - Seattle Dragons Reshard Cliett - Dallas Renegades Of the players available in the draft pool, the following guys weren't picked up: Tyre Mccants Eric Mayes Jeremi Hall Lawrence Martin Vincent Jackson Devin Abraham Elkanah Dillon (I know he transferred but he's still a Bull)
  6. Along with a dozen or so other former players on the sideline. It's hard to know who the others are because most of them have towels over their heads to avoid the heat.
  7. I have one more ticket available in 113. DM me first and it's yours
  8. I have a couple tickets available at the top of section 113 for anyone who needs them. I received the tickets for free so I'm passing them along at that same price.
  9. And that third loss was brutal. I'm convinced those Ohio guards could've made those deep threes with blindfolds on.
  10. TDS reported that the press conference was announced just 30 minutes before it happened. I suspect the small crowd was by design.
  11. The on-field performance has nothing to do with this move. The whole area has adjusted schedules to keep people from being outside in the evening.
  12. Do something drastic for the rest of the year: HC- King OC- Lamar DC- Sanchez ST- Nadelman What could go wrong?
  13. Paper bags may not be allowed into the stadium. The clear bag policy could be used to keep people from bringing the bags in.
  14. His head coaching career may be over but he'd still be wanted as a coordinator. He could leave now or leave at the end of his contract and still be in the same position. Head coaching failure doesn't necessarily translate to failure as a coordinator. Charlie may be the next enrollee in Bama's program for misfit head coaches.
  15. I've never been to one of the radio shows but you can count me in for this on the next one. Before last night, I was ready to wait out the season before jumping on the fire Charlie train. Last night settled it for me. Change is needed. When's the next radio show?
  16. Especially since the seniors seem to be the biggest problem spots on the line. I thought Atterbury and Norman were effective for us in previous years but they've been letting guys through as easily as the attendants at the doors to the club.
  17. Where did they report this? I looked for it but don't see anything.
  18. I saw a couple of these shirts around 6D during today's tailgate. This is a great way to pick out the people we spend our days arguing with in the wild. My shirt's doing great in this brutal heat.
  19. Even with all the experience, we only have two seniors. Things are looking up for this program.
  20. You're saying it isn't part of our culture but it's something that actually happens around the program unlike the things you responded with when asked what you think our culture is. When it's still talked about over a decade later, it's something. Maybe not culture since you seem allergic to the idea of that but something.
  21. It's been 12 years since we played Auburn and this whole thing started. At this point, I think it's part of the culture (a very small part of it). The only way to stop it would be to get the flamingos banned from the stadium. Until something like that happens, the flamingo hats and inflatables will continue to be hot pink dots in the stands.
