  1. I wouldn't say that-miami keeps landing top classes but they haven't been relevant nationally since 2005. Coaching is everything in football...when talented recruits meet high quality coaching, you get Nick Saban. When you get recruits but average at best coaching, you get Ron Zoo.
  2. Can't do this list without Matt Grothe. He's still the best QB we ever had... and without him we never reach #2 or have some of the big wins we've had over the years.
  3. Hopefully we can get that UF game scheduled soon as well. Doug has completely reversed the opinion I had of him two months ago. With schedules like these, nobody will be able to doubt our worthiness if we win 9-10 games a year to be the access bowl team...unless of course we end up in the Big 12 and the reason we're winning all these games is because we've been able to assure people that the Big 12 is taken us.
  4. Boom Boom? Sorry, I just had to make that joke. A free soda at the first home football game (in stadium) to the one who figures out who this guy is and why he's called "Boom Boom".
  5. Infinity engine my butt. I play with the original Infinity Engine on Madden all the time (which is so aptly named). Apparently large receivers can't make catches in coverage and the running game will not succeed no matter how good your line is if you're only playing one position. Entire career mode is weighted against you.
  6. Sure, as long as they don't mind the money another Florida school would make from a sellout
  7. Sterling Griffin just handed me a water bottle just for moving out of his way right by the goal post boundaries. Nice guy to let me share some of his.
  8. Agreed on the RBs. Qbs getting a bit better as practice goes on.
  9. Convince the Arena League to work with the NCAA to start a college arena football league for the dead period after recruiting? We could start it right here in talent rich Florida!
  10. I got my email earlier today. This should be exciting.
  11. Color me surprised. Either this team's pride suddenly mattered to them, or Stan actually managed to get them motivated after ten straight losses (and finally a win). Would love to see them carry this bit of momentum into the tournament next week in NYC.
  12. Because FSU and Clemson weren't just in BCS bowls the last two years....They aren't teams of yesterday, they're back to being good, as 09/29/2012 will attest.
  13. Matt Bellamy of Muse at the concert tonight: I hear you have no water here! Those ****** squirrels!
  14. It's not like the USF women didn't just beat their second ranked team in a row or something....oh wait.
  15. What other scintillating topics are there to talk about right now? The chances of the basketball team getting into the tourney? :lmao: :lmao: :puke: :puke: Well, yes actually. I hear we just smacked down Louisville by 11 points! I thought he was referring to the Men. Data, if you were referencing the Ladies, I apologize. Oh, I know he was referring to the men. I was just being facetious. That said, it is nice to have one winner to cheer for

  17. Can we think of some ways to boost season ticket sales? Winning always helps, but beyond that there should be other ways to increase sales. Mine: work out a package season ticket deal with the Buccaneers. For Buccaneers season ticket holders, buying USF season tickets can cost 20 percent less and we give the Buccaneers an increased percentage of ticket sales made through them. If the seats are in a donation section, we get the total donation but increase the Buccaneers percentage by 1 percent. Anyone else have ideas?
