  1. Agreed. He completely gave up on those last two throws to him. Bench him for next weeks game.
  2. Just decommitted from UM. Do we have another shot??
  3. UT and OU to the B1G seems to be making the rumor rounds this morning
  4. Expansion rumors.com has us back in the B12!! Yay!! Here we go. The top power conferences in College Football known as the P5 (ACC, B1G, BIG XII, PAC12, and SEC) are going to form a new division that would only be for football. I will refer to this as new division as D1-A. A few teams in the MWC, Indy, and AAC will make the cut for D1-A. The teams or conferences that don’t meet the requirements would be placed in D1-B. Conference Championship Games will be a requirement. There will be no Independents. Hopefully, your school meets whatever the requirements may be. So this is how the new Division 1-A *may* look in 2016: ACC NORTH DIVISION Boston College Louisville Notre Dame – from Independent Pittsburgh Syracuse UConn – from AAC Wake Forest SOUTH DIVISION Clemson Duke Florida State Georgia Tech Miami North Carolina North Carolina State B1G WEST DIVISION Illinois Iowa Minnesota Missouri – from SEC Nebraska Northwestern Purdue Wisconsin EAST DIVISION Indiana Maryland Michigan Michigan State Ohio State Penn State Rutgers Virginia – from ACC BIG XII NORTH DIVISION Cincinnati – from AAC Iowa State Oklahoma Oklahoma State BYU – from Independent West Virginia SOUTH DIVISION Baylor Kansas Kansas State TCU Texas Texas Tech PAC-12 NORTH DIVISION California Oregon Oregon State Stanford Washington Washington State SOUTH DIVISION Arizona Arizona State Colorado UCLA USC Utah SEC EAST DIVISION Florida Georgia Kentucky South Carolina Tennessee Vanderbilt Virginia Tech – from ACC WEST DIVISION Alabama Arkansas Auburn LSU Mississippi State Ole Miss Texas A&M MWC/AAC MERGE (applies to the sport of Football Only, all other sports would remain where they are) EAST DIVISION East Carolina Houston Memphis SMU Temple UCF USF WEST DIVISION Air Force Boise State Colorado State Fresno State Navy San Diego State UNLV Projected Timeline: B1G expands with Missouri and Virginia SEC fills Missouri hole with Virginia Tech ACC fills Virginia hole with UConn New Division announced BIG XII expands with BYU and Cincinnati due to required CCG Notre Dame joins ACC as full football member due to no Independent requirement MWC/AAC schools that meet requirements merge for football only A few notes: *The MWC/AAC Hybrid Conference is for football only and all other sports will remain as is. *In this scenario Independents have been eliminated due to the Conferece Championship requirement. *All other sports in D1 would compete in playoffs together like they do now. March Madness is a good example. Only the FB postseason would be split between D1-A and D1-B. *D1-A and D1-B would still be able to schedule each other in regular season. *D1-B could stage their own playoff. Update 8/24: BYU has moved back into BIG XII spot and USF is now in MWC/AAC Merge.

  6. Would still rather see us in the ACC. With the D4, it's coming for us. Just a matter of where we land.
  7. Selfishly would like to have USF in the ACC so I could see them here in NC. Everything is a possibility when the NCAA blows up and we go D4.
  8. Has the ACC all signed their GOR's yet? I thought that was supposed to happen July 1st?
  9. I've brainwashed all my girls from birth on the superiority of USF; however, being out of state will probably make USF as their school of choice a near impossibility. (I guess UNC is an ok school)
  10. There may be some smaller schools in the Big 5 (Wake, ISU, etc...) who might not have the money or inclination to abide by the new rules should they break off from the NCAA. Just from that standpoint alone, this is encouraging for USF. Question is would USF be willing to step up to the plate and play by the new big boy rules.
  11. It was my understanding that the GOR's needed to be signed by that date. However, think I saw on another post that the formal signing of GOR's might be later in the fall. Confused myself.
  12. As soon as FSU and Miami sign / don't sign the ACC GOR - Game on!
  13. We're essentially saying the same thing, I'm just talking about the chicken, whereas you're going straight to the egg. Of course it's about the championship game, and in order to get one, B12 will have to expand beyond the 10 they currently have. Pressure from the other conferences that have one (which I guess is all the other conferences now) will force the B12's hand. My point is that the SEC has the reins on the whole thing right now. As long as they maintain dominance, they won't care so much about whether or not B12 has a CCG or not. + this. B12 WILL be forced/coerced to have a CCG which will require them to go to 12 teams minimum. (Our last hope at this point).
