  1. Comparing college basketball in the south is not a good comparison to football.
  2. Yes, that's where we currently belong. I'm not saying we should be stuck there forever and things can't change if certain things happen in realignment. But, as of right now, yes. That also doesn't mean we can't become a ranked team every year.
  3. Or maybe we shouldn't compare our school to arguably the top football school in the country and compare it to the top 40-65 teams in the country where we belong? A crap load of haves won't compare to Ohio freakin State.
  4. I think it's a smart PR move for Winston. USF and FSU aren't rivals even though we play this year. It's a smart way for him to gain some local, USF support. I doubt the majority of FSU fans give a rip or will even hear about it. If they do, most responses will be "meh".
  5. You guys def had an impressive showing, but there's no way that's right. Here's this from your own board from that douche that comes over here sometimes (UCFmikes). cocoabeachjason said: ↑ Marc Daniels just announced 23,000 and change. "No way. I don't want to be negative, but it wasn't more than half full. Not a chance"
  6. With the loss of Perry, I wish he were eligible this year. Thanks for the update foot.
  7. Really? I had no idea she'd go that high. That would be awesome.
  8. Of course it's the players fault, but he's going to get the heat for it.
  9. I guess it just depends where you look. http://www.gocards.com/news/2007/7/17/Cards_Picked_to_Finish_Second_in_BIG_EAST_in_2007.aspx 2007 BIG EAST FOOTBALL PRESEASON MEDIA POLL Rank Team Pts. 1. West Virginia (20) 188 2. Louisville (3) 167 3. Rutgers (1) 142 4. USF 123 5. Cincinnati 86 6. Pittsburgh 80 7. Connecticut 45 8. Syracuse 32
  10. But, were we expected to win the conference going into that season? I don't think we were the favorites. I remember West Virginia, Louisville and maybe Rutgers/Ciincy ahead of us as favorites. We came out strong and surprised a lot of people. In comparison to what OP is saying, I don't think anyone would be too surprised if we make the championship game, but I'd be surprised if we beat Houston. They are going to be loaded.
  11. This is easy, should be Tramal Ivy. I hope the majority of freshman don't have to play and can redshirt. It's not a good sign when freshman beat out jr's/seniors.
  12. I was joking around going with the flow of people losing there crap over this argument. I know Flowers is going to be the starter.
  13. Consistent, top notch recruiting classes and one of the best head coaches in the country can do that.
  14. I doubt that Taggart has that mentality towards this situation and has already spun it to his guys the way he wants them to see it. I get what you're saying though.
  15. I guess I'm just of the mind frame that Harbaugh coming here does nothing for us/doesn't hurt us in recruiting. I don't think it's a big deal and won't change a kids decision on whether or not he wants to come here. Now, whether it hurts UF, FSU, Miami and other blue bloods is a different argument.
  16. I'm pretty sure I remember him flipping from us to Iowa, not Michigan. As long as we're in the AAC, we're not going to be pulling in the highly rated 4 star guys.
  17. I just don't really care because it's very rare that we pull the high 4 star guys that Harbaugh is going after in the bay area.
