  1. Exactly, there's a lot of people angry about being in the UConn bracket, but we have to win a few of games to even face them again. So, let's at least win these 3 games, make it to the Elite 8 and get destroyed by UConn for the 4th time this year.
  2. And that's why I trust the coaches to play the best player for all positions.
  3. I know you're joking around, but most large mens public high school teams would beat this UConn team.
  4. There's no way we win. UConn is gonna win out. Most dominant team program there has every been. Sucks for womens bball when everyone else is playing for 2nd place.
  5. Getting out rebounded for easy 2nd chance put backs is so frustrating to watch. Those UConn girls be big.
  6. Losing 2 of Cincinnati, Houston, Connecticut or Memphis would be devastating. I'd hate to say it, but I'd lose a lot of interest in college sports if the door closed on us like that because we're not going anywhere with the state of our programs right now.
  7. The University of Tampa Bay Sharks? I like it.
  8. Changing from the Bulls, to the Bull Sharks.
  9. I don't think she can do anymore damage to her foot since her plantar fascia is already torn. I think I remember this is what my CC coach told me at least. I ran half a season with plantar fasciitis, even though it was extremely painful. I'd just inject a cortisone shot in her foot and limit her minutes. If it's a blowout early on (it may be), then bench her.
  10. If this has to do with coach O, then that would be a mistake firing him after only 2 seasons, unless there's a proven winner coming on board that can keep players from transferring. Why even start a thread like this if you can't even hint what it may be about? Is it just so you can say, "I told you guys, called it".
  11. Obviously, you can't compare womens bball to football, but if we're taking that out of it, then yes, since UConn is a dynasty and the most dominant sports team that I've ever seen.
  12. It's crazy we're up, but we really needed to hit 1 or 2 shots towards the end there.
  13. Including this game, we'll be lucky to go 1-2 down the stretch.
  14. I guess the people that were saying UCF has/had a dirty program can't anymore since they'll look like hypocrites now. Great hire if he can stay out of trouble. Recruiting has always been a dirty game, so I never really liked casting stones there.
  15. Yep, seems like some schools are taking the, "Hey, look at me, I'm unhappy here and want you" approach. While we're being respectful to our conference. I don't know what would be better. I'm guessing the best approach is to win and spend money on athletics. Win and the fans show up, spend money to show you're serious. Houston would be great if it weren't for all the other Texas schools and UConn wouldn't be in this mess if they weren't on a different continent.
  16. USF can afford a 150-200mil OCS, I just don't think they need to build one right now. Ray Jay is one of the best and worst things to happen to USF football. As long as we don't need an OCS, don't think athletics takes that leap. I hope the Glazers try and screw us on an upcoming contract or give us a horrible ultimatum, so that will force athletics to make a move.
  17. So, from everything I'm reading, BYU is the front runner but probably not in play, then the next up are: 1 Cincy, UConn 2a Houston 2b Memphis, USF, UCF 3 the rest
  18. My feeling is he wants the hometown Miami offer, but it won't come, so he commits to us since he still seems to like USF, the coaches and players. We have a decent amount of Miami guys on the squad.
  19. Our frats and sororities really need to get more involved in football/bball like FSU's and UF's frats and sororities do. I don't know what the problem is with them, get drunk and at least go support the money making sports. Make it mandatory.
