    Wow that is too bad. There should at least be some designated games...most certainly homecoming should meet the criteria for former players.

    I think the issue for me was how it was done. It would have been better IMO to announce it early in the week as opposed 15 min till kickoff. Someone mentioned Oregon does this all the time but that is a part of their culture when the $ come from an alumnus in the apparel industry. Our kids were looking in the mirror at themselves 10 min before KO. It’s great to be jacked up as long as it is directed properly. Now, does this explain our typical slow start? No way those issues are bigger but the way this was done did not help IMO.

    Got to agree with @MikeG on this. The facts need to come in as none of us even know what the actual policy is. I can’t image the top CFB blueboods have such a policy for all alumni players to get in free but even for new comers like ourselfs I would bet some restrictions are in place.

    I wonder what this board will be like if we actually win on Saturday? I know there will be a few “I told you so” but the majority will say “we should have won by more, ****** play calling.” The natives are never happy.

    That’s true too. Our LBs have been a disaster this year but we knew this going in. Some type of changes will need to be made in the offseason.

    This is what I am hoping for. It is the ultimate intangible...mental toughness. A few news reports discussed how the players were really upset after the game. Hopefully this will increase the quality of their prep this week.

    This is my worry. A few three and outs to start the game and BOOM we could be down 21 to 0. Hope everyone is focused during practice this week and prepares with urgency.

    I remember the name. Not sure if I would support a policy that ex players should get in free. Maybe a few games a year but not all.
