  1. This is awesome bulletin board material. Show the team how disrespected they are, and let them go up & blow out another P5 team!
  2. 1) The winning team: USF2) The final score: 45-273) Bulls leading rusher: Bell4) Bulls leading receiver: St. Felix5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over): 469
  3. Exactly my thoughts. At UF, it was 90, noon, and not a cloud in the sky. And, UF ran out of bottled water...stunning. FSU was so hot, my wife told me that was her last Sept noon game in FL. My bud & I said the same thing after the game. Hot, but not as hot as we expected. We did get some cloud coverage, which really helped.
  4. Same. They gashed up big time. But the D stepped up. Livingston isn't getting enough credit...he popped the QB, forcing the free INT for Sawtelle.
  5. Amazing game...once again, happy to be wrong (but at 38-28, I was starting to REALLY get pessimistic).
  6. Agree. I made the trip from Palm Beach. 12 hour door to door, and took my long time friend (and USF alum). We need more fans, but also active fans. I stand on every crucial 3rd/4th down play for our D, and make all the noise I can. But too many don't. I'd love to see more fans, and I'll get to as many games as I can. Doubt I'll make Temple, but if I can, I'll shoot you a message.
  7. Reading his Tweets, he seems to be suffering a heat stroke OR heavy early afternoon drinking. He makes Tom Jones look good (kidding...they both stink).
  8. Yea...good description. He's clearly miffed at blowing the game & getting 2nd guessed. But he's kinda of deek about it. But, this is JUST the type of presser I like to see from the opposing coach after a game!
  9. GT fans at the game were mild, but nice. I heard NO smack talk...but a lot of stunned fans at the 21 point run to end it.
  10. This is hard to read. I never met Charlie, but he invited me to join him for the Navy game a few years back. Last minute, he told me he had something come up and could not join us. He later told me he was taking a break from the blog, but we were thrilled when he came back. What a great life he led, and I'm happy to know he kept his humor & perspective till the end. This is another reminder that while we joust with each other at times, we're still family. Rest in Peace, Charlie...and GO BULLS!!
  11. I'm just a nervous dude. But, I'm back from vacation Friday night, and getting up early to make the drive to Tampa for the GT game. Hoping we pull it off. GO BULLS!
  12. 1) The winning team: Hate it, but GT (I just don't see our D stopping them enough)2) The final score: GT 34- USF 313) Bulls leading rusher: Cronkrite4) Bulls leading receiver: St. Felix5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over): 369
  13. I know I'm late, as I was travelling. But my guess is 8-4.
  14. yeah, mine was kinda tongue in cheek. After reading his Tweets, I'm not sure what he'll be doing for a living after football, but not likely lucrative.
  15. I'd take $129K to work 6 months, if I could get something that paid well for the other 6.
  16. Was hoping to make UMass, but not looking good. Looking forward to communicating with you & the guys on here...and Twitter.
  17. Elon is Top 15 in its conference, we have a new offense (at least the star players replaced, mostly) AND I'm a pessimist That...and I was at the Stoney Brook game...that scared me BIGLY. I'll miss the game, as I'll in Charlotte, letting my wife go to a WVU (v Tenn) for a change. Hopefully I can watch on my phone for some of it, but for sure the replay, worst case. And, I'll be at the GTech game.
  18. 1) The winning team: Daaaaaa Bulls2) The final score: USF 34-233) Bulls leading rusher: Cronkrite4) Bulls leading receiver: St. Felix5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over): 369
  19. White couldn't play anything BUT QB. He's a pure QB. Flowers gave us the best chance of winning at QB. We aren't a minor league team for the NFL...we're playing kids to win. As to flipping, I believe Nate Allen was a HS QB and George Selvie was a HS Center. I'm sure others have more examples. I fear he doesn't make the team. The runs didn't look bad (except for the slide...that's not what backs do in the NFL), but they seem to have a lot of RBs (though not the most talented bunch). Thanks for those who posted the carries here & on Twitter. Much appreciated.
  20. Slow it down, Cali...you're whipping up my hopes Hope you're right...I know you've been a close follower of the program, so I trust your judgment.
  21. Hope so...hope we stole this guy. Seems all 3 QBs are cool with competing, and in this sport, you're always one hit away from being "next up", so always good to be ready.
  22. Q? I see you are new here (no disrespect). I'm NOT saying BB doesn't start. I'm saying it's not a given to me. I've seen the same clips most have seen, and none look like clear winners. The BB strike to Zion recently was impressive, though. If I had to guess who wins it eventually, BB certainly has the size and rating. But...that's why they play the games. That he got beaten out at Bama (injured, maybe...not familiar) isn't a horrible thing. Not sure why he couldn't play at a mediocre ASU, but maybe a good reason. I just want the best QB to play...and hope it gets obvious soon who that winner is.
