  1. this offense frustrates the heck out of me. I'm ready for the 3rd string QB. You can't have a guy with a broken wing. Those 5 yard penalties just kill us.
  2. 1) The winning team: Navy2) The final score: 34-233) Bulls leading rusher: Sands4) Bulls leading receiver: McDoom5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over): 269
  3. Yeah, I'm not expecting, especially after reading his Tweets. Maybe Last Chance U?
  4. Good question (unless it's rhetorical, and I just don't know the answer.)
  5. I was giving him a break as he was getting killed due to lack of protection and now he's done for the year. But yeah...that's a fair add to the list.
  6. I think Wilcox is as disappointed as anyone. I don't blame him...he's getting fewer looks and QB play has been lame. He's already hit a career high 4 TDs...so he's making the most of his targets.
  7. He caught well last year...at least mostly, with some excellent numbers. I think some WRs just lose focus if they rarely get targets. Not excusing that, but just my feeling. With Barnett now done for the year, and McCloud's throwing hand banged up, passing game may struggle. Hopefully the OL can pound on defenses to lighten the QB load.
  8. Terrence Horne: the most explosive burst on the scene player since Marlon Mack. The ACL tear early last year was devastating, but I was hopeful he'd be close to fully recovered for this season. We're halfway thru the season, and he's barely been seen...4 catches for 26 yards. I understand not returning kicks...thankfully Sanders is very good. But I'm not sure if it's QB struggles or lack of playing time, but it feels like this season is mostly lost for him. The good news: he's just a RS freshman. Randall St. Felix: after an awesome freshman year, he's only got 7 catches, 1 TD. He's a dynamic receiver. I know he's had a few drops, but I wonder if some of that is the frustration or lack of concentration from seeing so few targets. McArthur Burnett: I was hoping another UF transfer would bolster our secondary, but I don't even recall seeing him play (maybe I just didn't see him on the field). Just a junior, but our secondary can use the help. Any other players you guys had great expectations for this season, but aren't seeing?
  9. I just went back & read his most recent Tweets. I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if he plays here again. I just wish he's get it together, as he's such a weapon.
  10. Likewise. I'm sure I'll get up there again. My daughter finished college in Boston and just moved to LA, so my trips to NE are fewer. That was a fun game, all the way till the Adams KO fumble and the game killing personal foul to extend Navy's last drive (can't recall the DB. Maybe Johnny Ward?). Enjoy the game.
  11. Went there a few years ago. Great atmosphere...you WILL get goose bumps on the flyover & pre-game procession. And, even though we lost, you can't get mad at the players or fans...pure class. We went up to DC for a few days, then rented a car for the day and drove up...maybe an hour away. Annapolis is a small, but pretty city. Truly a great road game.
  12. Opened this thread to see & weigh in on the USF game changers. After a few pages, it turned to "KB sux, no he doesn't". In addition to the players named earlier, I like Macon, Studstill and Weaver. I feel bad for McDoom, as he was wide open for 2 TD bombs...and badly missed. I also feel for St. Felix, as we're wasting him. Kudos to the OL for finally getting pissed & asserting its will v the BYU line. If they get nasty & win most battles, we could do very well. Now...back to the exhausting back & forth on Kerwin Bell
  13. In fairness, it should have been 29-23 Great call...even better win.
  14. I have 4 extra, section 111 club. Can't make the game. 2 parking passes. I'd have to transfer to Ticketmaster account. First to message me...hate to waste.
  15. that's a parody account...and that Tweet is DRIPPING with sarcasm.
  16. 1) The winning team: USF2) The final score: 38-343) Bulls leading rusher: Cronk4) Bulls leading receiver: Weaver5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over):369 making my first trip to Ray Jay, and hoping this team digs in & plays a physical game and pulls off the upset to save the season.
  17. I like WR Weaver, true freshman. He did what we don't see enough of on a critical passing play. While McCloud scrambled for his life, Weaver saw it & ran to an open spot that McCloud could easily find & hit. WR's helping QBs (and blocking downfield) are PURE GOLD.
  18. Great pic. Brad, why have a thread & chat? The chat is quicker & easier to follow, especially when watching the game.
  19. Bryce Miller is the Wes Welker of USF. Great hands and knows how to get open. He needs to see more passes.
  20. 1) The winning team: USF2) The final score: 37-243) Bulls leading rusher: Cronk4) Bulls leading receiver: Ford5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over): 369
  21. 1) The winning team: Bad guys (SMU)2) The final score: 34-173) Bulls leading rusher: Ford4) Bulls leading receiver: St.Felix (he HAS to get more targets)5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over): 269 I hate predicting a loss, but SMU is killing it with the Texas QB transfer, and I feel like we're still finding our offense. I do like our defense getting stronger each week...the transfers have really been a win.
