Hey all, I’m looking to bring 4-5 guests who were convinced last-minute to join me at tonight’s game. Student tickets are sold out so I only have my own. If anyone has any tickets they’re not using I’ll gladly put them to good use. Thank you.

You can cheap seats on StubHub...like $4 plus fees.  I bought club seats for 18 each.  It's fortunate, but also sad and a reflection on demand for our games.

Crazy to think we've never had a 1000 yard receiver.

I think mainly because we haven't had a dominant receiver consistently.  During the "best years", we had MVS and Adams, but also Mack and D Johnson getting rushing yards.  Simmons had 275 in one game...and about that in the other 10.  Thought he might be the one, but nope.

And what, just sayin', that U of SF did not defeat Charlotte? What if the must-win became didn't-win? What do we think the tenor of this board would be? It's still a five-win season, hugely successful compared to the last four years. But just how much weight do we attach to the 49ers game?

We played a much softer schedule, lucky not to play SMU and Tulane.  5 would be ok, but with this offense, not winning 6 is failing, IMO.  But after 4 wins in 3 seasons, at least we're winning more games and the future looks brighter.  Imagine if we had a defense.

I always told my daughter that when a boy was coming to pick her up for a first date that I was going to sit on the porch with a shotgun in my lap, my eyes crossed, a bottle of beer on the ground and drool coming out of my mouth.

FAN APPRECIATION GAME presented by: Tryp360.

    STM George Selvie Bobblehead night

    Raymond James Stadium     Tampa, FL

    Link to In Game conversation....

Congratulations to our last winner @El_Toro_86  !

The Contest: Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to select the winner for the week's South Florida football game - as well as make some tie-breaking prognostications. Prizes await, as does the respect and admiration of Bulls fans worldwide.

    First...the rules:

    1) You must be a registered member of this message board.
    2) You must completely answer the contest questions.
    3) Post must be submitted prior to published game start time.
    4) There can be no modifications to your post after the published game start time.
    5) Your prediction must be part of this original thread.

For additional contest rules, please read the small print below.

    And now, the contest:

For the Bulls game against the 49ers, on Saturday, November 25, please select the following:

    1) The winning team
    2) The final score
    3) Bulls leading rusher
    4) Bulls leading receiver
    5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over)

Please try to keep in the above format so that it will be easier to manage. Sample response would be:

    1) South Florida
    2) 64-12
    3) Nay'Quan Wright
    4) Sean Atkins
    5) 350

After posting your entry, please make your case for your picks, or predict other aspects of the game. It will make the thread much more entertaining if everyone gives their reasons for their picks, and make predictions on other aspects like special teams, rushing, or who to expect at Quarterback.

Important:  The winner will be decided with the first and second prediction items. I am looking for the person that comes closest to the actual score, not simply the margin of victory. If more than one person is correct, or equally close, we'll go to item three. Closest wins. If still tied, we go to item four - if still tied, item 5. After that, whoever gives the best reasoning, and pre-game analysis wins.*

If you provide your email address, I'll send some tickets your way. STMs were given 8 tickets each and I'm only planning to use 2 or 3 of them.

Appreciate that!  A Twitter guy I met at BYU said he'd give me 2 at the game, but if you are sure you won't otherwise use them, to be sure I'm set, please email jupiterbull@comcast.net.  Much thanks...hope it's a great game.

  7. 1) The winning team: BYU I fear.  Would love to be wrong
    2) The final score:  37-30
    3) Bulls leading rusher: GB
    4) Bulls leading receiver: Ajou
    5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over):  369

I think GB does well, but worry our defense struggles against a well coached team that I expect will the well disciplined and make few mistakes.  But if we get up on top, and athletes take over, we could easily win this game.  Hope it's a hot & humid day that wears BYU out and we can wear them down.  If we keep it close late, good chance to win.

  8. Not surprised at him wanting to go home, but he could have stuck around & learned from GB.  And, you're always an injury or slump away from being the starter.  Seeing his dad tweet about there being no competition is annoying.  If McClain smoked GB, McClain would start, and GB would learn and wait.  Not wishing ill will on McClain, but think it was a silly/selfish thing to do...but also his right.  But Horn better stay 🙂

  9. 1) The winning team  USF
    2) The final score  34-30
    3) Bulls leading rusher Mangham
    4) Bulls leading receiver Horn
    5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over) 369

I'm trying to be an optimist that the OL can push ECU around & wear them down...and keep our defense off the field as much as possible.

A win let's us enjoy a stress free weekend of football.  GO BULLS!
