Would you have punted with 4 minutes left and newfound momentum? I am as conservative as they come but oddly enough I would have gone ride or die on that series.
No way do I punt there. You die fighting, not Skip Holtz'ing it, hoping for everything to work out so can have another shot to drive 75 yards to score your 2ND TD OF THE YEAR!
If you go & miss, you STILL have to stop them. Do that, they (maybe) kick a FG. So, you have a chance for a big kick return, but you still have to drive most of the field. Now, a TD doesn't win it, but take you to OT.
Instead, a BS targeting call; game over. Even if that doesn't get called, we get the ball back with 1:35 or so. Still a chance, but with no time outs, it's tough (did I mention only 1 TD all year?).
That just shows no stones for Coach Strong.

I don't see how he couldn't get the ball out to Miller
He was rolling against his body, but you're right...that's simple pitch & catch.

Do we give McCloud a series? GT rotated, and it worked. McCloud has speed/energy.

this is the most anemic offense I've seen, since pre-Flowers. GT isn't bad on D, but our O just does nothing long. Everything is poorly blocked/slow developing.

weak 2nd set of downs

How do we change things for the better?
Don't punish the players. I'm sure this sucks for them more than it sucks for us. GT will be a serious gut check time.

Tough to watch tonight. I was in town for this one. I thought we’d get beat, but not battered like we did. Top to bottom no one played well on a big stage.
The dropped balls on the first two drives were really bad.
At the end of the day our D was no match for their running game. Our O looked totally out of sync from play one. The fact that we didn’t cross midfield until late in the 4th quarter was really awful.
Lick your wounds and prepare for GT.
Go Bulls!
Macon did...he's a stud. He's going to have a great season, if he doesn't get disheartened.

My question is this. If I have tickets in sections 135-136 2:35 or 2:36 do I automatically have access to the club area? I am not an alumni of USF or a donor
I would think that those sections are Club access, as I have it in Section 111. But I believe the guys are right...your ticket would say Club Access. I just checked my phone tix...says Club Access next to the QR reader.

Appreciate the email nudge, Brad. I've been caught up with work, and just staying active with our Bulls on Twitter. But it's time to get set with the Bullspen to get into the diehards' exchanges. GO BULLS!

7-5, but +/- 2. The D is my biggest unknown/concern...though I'm really hopeful some transfers step up in areas of needs. I worry we have a drop off if Barnett gets hurt, but looks like he's bulked up a bit, and i'm hopeful the coaches will not put him in harm's way too much.
Much depends on health...I'm really looking forward to seeing Horne back at 100%, or even close. He's a game changer.

1) The winning team: WiscyDicks
2) The final score: 45-27
3) Bulls leading rusher: Ford
4) Bulls leading receiver: St. Felix
5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over): 369
Tough game to start with the D with many question marks. If the O can dink/dunk/bomb (occasionally), and the D can make some stops & get some turnovers, we can keep it close...or even win.
I was hoping for a hot game to wear their guys out, but since I'm going, I can live with a 7 PM Friday night game. I'm looking forward to seeing what we're working with and how many folks we get out to the game...we need to fill up RayJay, or the argument that the stands are light due to foes goes away. GO BULLS

I was hoping we'd get WVU in the Finals, so my wife & I could enjoy the rivalry again.
We're playing basketball in April. Awesome!
I don't know the full economic impact of the CBI, but it seems like a great investment in this young team. I hope we can keep Brian Gregory for a long time...he may wind up the best MBB coach we've ever had (he's already won more games than Antigua).

not sure if you were serious but the only people who make money off the concessions and general parking are the Bucs via their deal with the TSA.
We make a little off the season ticket pre-sold parking and of course the main portion is from the event TICKETS themselves. Basically USF only benefits from butts in seats-- so we did pretty good on that-- meaning what you are saying is relevant.
sorry- had to correct that- and apologies if you knew it already and were just trying to make an entertaining (it was) post.
actually, I wasn't sure if there was any benefit to USF, so I appreciate you correcting me (I'm wrong more than I like...but rarely wrong on the same topic after learning
At least the Bucs got $$, and maybe local restaurants and maybe a few hotels.

I saw one UCF fan punch a baby, while another pushed an old lady to the ground and then a third say that Publix subs were trash and that they preferred Blimpie.
I was that baby...and it was a sucker punch, or I'd have busted his ankles.

No complaints. Offered several of them jobs doing yard work tomorrow morning. No takers.
Dude, you can't expect them to work the fryers & grills all night and THEN do yard work.

Was everyone on good behavior?
Not a bad word heard, but frankly, they were there in huge numbers and had no doubt they would lose. No one wants to come into a Ray Jay, smoke our Bulls, then get their ace kicked by popping off at the mouth.
They came, drank beer & bought concessions...so hopefully while pooping on us, we made some $$ on them.
As they pulled away, they went into full party mode. I left with 8 left, which I NEVER do, but it was obvious we had no fight left.
On the upside, it was my friend's (from 1st grade, also an alum) bday. He & his wife joined us at the game, and we hit a cool Lebanese restaurant in SoTampa and enjoy a great meal & drank a bit to numb that result. Thankfully no UCFers stumbled in.
The game sucked so bad, but I was reminded there are other things in life that I need to focus on, or it's gonna be a rough few years.

This will change when the cycle changes, and UCF is 0-12 again. Short memories, but those of us who have been around remember.

If I'm betting on a USF game, I always bet against us. We win and I'm happy. We lose and I'm richer. Win win.
Yeah, unless we lose AND don't cover.
