Looks like Asiantii is down to two schools - and we aren't one of them.

I'm so over this kid. Other than winning Elite 11 nothing has impressed me about him.

I wonder what kind of interest he would have were he never invited as he barely made the cut.

Wasn't USF his only offer at the time?

He would be a division 2 QB at best. Just above 50% completion percentage with 14 TDs and 10 INTs does not scream elite QB. And this is at a high school level of competition. The Elite 11 just tells me he would be decent at flag football. Now Mike White had almost 70% CP, 22 TDs to only 2 INTs. That is a LOT more impressive!

Glad the "maybe" phase is over...now CoachTaggart can score a QB and we can forgot about getting jilted by this attention wh0re.  WIsh I could wish him the best, but I can't.  I don't fault him for picking Clemson or UCLA...that's his choice, and he should do what's best for him.  It's the way he jerked Taggart & USF around, while being coy and giddy with other schools.  Hope this is the peak for him...greatness in his mind [yes, Bull family, I know this is very immature...just a pent up vent after months of watching him & his game].  Let's go get a real QB for Taggart's O.

  2. 2 star goes to UCF...I can live with this.  But, he's likely better than a 2 star, if Taggart was seeking him, and others schools then got on board.  Apparently he's from the same high school as the UCF that's going to give us fits for the next 2 years:  Storm Johnson.

The focus remains on QB/RB...and I think we'll score 2 RBs, and a QB.  Hopefully if Woulard isn't coming, he tells Taggart so we have time to lock in another.  OR>>>Taggart goes out & gets one, and Woulard goes whereever.

  3. What? Today is easily one of the best recruiting weekends in Bulls history. 3 huge prospects.

4 good pick ups, in areas of need:  DT, 2 DEs and a CB/S.  All with good offers.

Time to shift the focus to RB & QB.  Woulard is likely headed to Clemson, unless he sees the bus loading up with talent, and his Dad convinces him to stay local.

Calloway isn't a given, IMUO:  I'm sure Strong & Co will be in his ear immediately, and for the next 2 weeks.

  4. A reference to USF beating Clemson, a team with a top 25 recruiting class year after year, says that you can still find very talented players that aren't rated 4 stars and compete with those who, allegedly, have the top classes.

Amen...The major conferences would have you believe  every year they get all the great talent..If this were the "TRUTH"  would they explain to me why the NFL has so many recruters going to the "MID" tier schools looking for talent. Is it possible they might be "cooking the books---I mean stars" :roflmao:

You don't watch the NFL do you?  Check out  the 49ers QB who went to school at Nevada and out Vicked Vick. Or T.O.. Or many others. If the NFL recruiters thought like you think they do, many talented players like Joe Flacco who went to Delaware or CJ2k who went to ECU would be overlooked. News flash, all talented NFL players weren't highly recruited, highly rated recruits out of high school.

Throw in Jerry Rice & Walter Payton.  Big Ben is from Miami Ohio, if I recall.  Romo is from Eastern Illinois.  Plenty of overlooked talent, and plenty of over rated 4 & 5 stars.  AW isn't coming here...he wants people gushing over him.  If Clemson wants him, he's there.  If not, he'll go to UK, which I think he'll regret.

I just wish he'd tell Taggart he's NOT coming, so Taggart can go balls out looking for another QB before we run out of time again.

  5. Best of luck to the guy, but this frees up a schollie just in time for our monster recruiting weekend...I'm good with this.

That said, I hate to see his tweets or quotes, saying he always wanted UNC.  But again, I'm sure most USF recruits want offers from USC, UF, ND, Bama, etc...that's where we are at 16 years old. Hope we can pull even a few of these recruits this weekend, as our class needs a serious boost.

Will be interesting to see Woulard's update.  I don't think he's coming here, which is too bad...could be a 4 year starter.

  6. I like dontavia a lot as a person and player, but he has yet to prove anything as a receiver and he is our second option as of now because of a lack of recruiting at the wide receiver spot. Just hasn't put up a lot of good wide receiving but has been great as times a returner. He hasn't proved by his play wr he is a legitmate 2 wr. I am hopeful for him next year.

Bogan's #3 in my book, behind AJ Love & Sterling Griffin.

Agree the jury is out of Cliett, but I'm less than thrilled that we're reaching at this point, given the schollie limits.  Again, maybe this guy's a stud...but I am hopeful we'll land some big pix soon, and get our class rankings to 40 or so.
