    The moment I knew something was wrong with this coaching staff was in the first quarter of the San Jose game last year. We looked sloppy and it has never changed.

    Our offense shows no emotion. So vanilla it’s not even funny. Kudos to the D though. This loss wasn’t on them today.

    I called it starting from last season after the UCF game. Strong just isn’t a good coach. You can tell with just how much we regressed since the SJS opener from last year. He’s not the answer. He needs to go.

    Let’s hope it’s SCS or someone on that level. If this entire staff returns, could be a difference between a bowl or not.

    I think the win would have to be UCF though, beating a ranked team would boost his resume more.

    I think CCS is absolute last resort. More likely String gets looked at from a team like Pitt or UNC, if their jobs open.

    I’m a Bills fan, and despite how bad their offense is, I’m seeing the same thing the OP is.

    Houston gets destroyed by Temple last night, at home. They also lost to SMU last week after destroying us. So Houston isn’t really as good as we thought, and they were supposed to be our measuring stick going into our final stretch. Next year is not looking good for us if we go in with the exact same coaching staff. SMU/Memphis/Navy matchups in the west look bad with SMU improving and Navy likely rebounding. Our division is trending up while we are trending down. Also we will have a tough OOC schedule that could see us go 1-3. Suddenly you have to start wondering about a bowl game. There needs to be changes!!

    And like clockwork, Petrino out at UL. Let’s hope the AD wasn’t watching USF the last month.

    That was a good time, no doubt. But I remember that being the peak of USF in the BE era, and we finished 4-3 in the Conference! All of those years were identical; start out winning a bunch of non-conference ranked teams, then fall sort midseason with a terrible BE record. I was disappointed most years.

    I just can’t get over the simple fact.....why try to fix what wasn’t broken? Our GCO was legit, we had the talent to run it since Strong got here. Why try to implement something else that wasn’t broken? Even last year, QF wasn’t allowed to play to his strengths. This year, I think we could still play it. It’s Florida speed that wins in the end. Yet this staff won’t play to it? Why?

    Nobody can defend this coaching staff after what we’ve seen this year. It’s an extension of last year minus QF as QB. I dare someone to argue that this coaching staff has been a good thing since Strong took over! Lol!!!!
