    It’s funny how we are playing those 5 teams in a row.....imagine starting 7-0 and finishing 7-5....oh the meltdown! Note: *I think we’ll lose only three as worst case*

    Yep. I worry when we play a team that can negate our Florida speed. Tulane (on D), Houston, UCF and probably even Cincy. Also Temple on the road in the cold.....

    SMU hung with Michigan until errors right before halftime cost them 14 points. They may hang with UCF but I’m sure there will be a blowout towards the end.

    Last year I remember hearing that Strong was hesitant to open the playbook until we were in the meat of our conference schedule........and we never saw anything different other than last year in UConn and the UCF finale. Just more of the same. Why did we regress in playcalling since GT?

    Putting Cincy higher than us is punishing us for having a bye week. I would argue that three of our wins are against better teams than their their top four (minus FCS games for both teams).

    Memphis and Navy are having down years, so UCF won’t be helped at all with their schedule. In fact it’s looking like WE actually have the tougher schedule for this season. No chance in hell UCF makes the playoffs even as undefeated.

    We looked really bad beating Tulsa before almost beating UCF last year.....only reason why I have hope we beat UCF this year.

    They won’t get in at undefeated. Our conference isn’t that good and they played nobody in their OOC. We may be the only ranked team that they play provided we don’t drop one before our game vs them.

    Duke, TTU, MSU, lost. BYU is losing. Cal should lose later too. Big shakeup coming for the last five spots in the top 25.

    Well there may be a chance we get into the t25, since BYU and Cal will likely lose and so did TTU. But seeing other teams dominate with their offenses and ODU doing what they did today, just a bad taste in my mouth.

    Memphis may be the most overrated team of the conference this year. Too bad too since it was supposed to be one of UCF’s toughest games.

    Well our D seems to start out slow each game, but ultimately plays a lot better as the game goes on. They may score on their first drive by running it on us, but we have a habit of showing up after that.

    While I think we should beat Cincy, the game looks more challenging than before the season started. On the road in the cold, they have more talent than year’s past, and we have beaten them 3 years in a row, they certainly will have revenge on their minds.

    They were 6-6 going into their bowl. Temple, who we also destroyed, was 6-6 going into their bowl. We beat them early in the year when they were terrible. So our two best wins were teams with .500 records at the end of the year.

    Yes, a win is a win, but it’s like this team just continues to play sloppy ball on offense under CS. We didn’t beat a team with a pulse last season because of this sloppiness, and it’s the same story this year. There has been no improvement and it worries me.
