    I was watching the local TV news out of Charlotte NC when the picture below came on in connection with a story about new COVID vaccine promotions. Where do I sign up?

    I am belated but wanted to congratulate the the Basebulls. Finally my moving away from Tampa Bay seems to be lifting the jinx from the Bulls as it did for the Bucs, Lightning and Rays. Meanwhile, I am repping with the colors in Hickory NC today. Go Bulls!

    Unless one of my rich Gator buddies steps up with a suite deal I can't refuse, I will probably watch from the James Best Memorial Theater here in the cooler Carolina foothills. Still, I don't think it can be as horrible as that 2010 Swampfest. I had a lung infection and was spitting up blood in that disaster which is tied for the hottest ever at Ben Hill Grillin' stadium.

    nullI seem to somehow have misplaced the last two seasons. Sad, because Baseball has been berry, berry good to me!

    I get it with the skepticism. Those who have been on the USF MBB farm for years would not get their hopes up until all the cows (Bulls maybe?) are in the barn and, even then, the barn would probably burn down. Still, as weird as this whole process has been, given what we lost and what we apparently have replaced it with, it appears better than an even swap. Only time and the Magic 8 ball will tell.

    Since the Tampa Bay area is virtually the 11th Canadian Province, perhaps he could broker a deal where we are included in the CFL-XFL merger. Those slime green uniforms ought to give us a leg up as well.

    Given that Scott is the very definition of unproven commodity, having coached only one season after inheriting a suspect lineup going into the year of the COVID catastrophe, how could one expect much else. I figure he is in last place until he proves he is not.

    Maybe if Tom Brady could just swing by to one of practices for a minute and lay hands upon our QBs we could bring our whole program back from the dead.

    I am a old alum and was a Tampa native. As with the Bucs, Lightning and Rays, I will become optimistic when the success actually occurs.

    I like the good ol' days when so many coaches rose to become Athletic Directors. In that system they could look in the mirror and give themselves a bonus just before firing themselves and "Going in a different direction."
