    Also a pleasure seeing you there Dave. The entire trip was a good experience for me, supporting the Bulls, watching exciting baseball (at least the first game) and jawing with Texas fans. Although the second game was not so good for us, I almost enjoyed it more because I never went to my seat and just roamed and took it all in. Also, Austin was interesting. I hiked and ate my way all around town, took in art and history museums, checked out the vibrant local music scene and toured the campus. And it was nice to see they even had special parking for students with my academic prowess:

    Spent the last two days hiking a hot Austin, eating my way around the city and checking out the local music scene. Tonight starts the business trip portion. Here's just hoping that the Bulls bring what they have in recent weeks in this battle of horny hand gestures. Go Bulls!

    Great. Hope to see you there. I will be a lone Bull. I was looking forward to bringing my bride (former SWA at USF) but couldn't work out all the details. Anyway, looking forward to the whole trip to Austin. Heading out early tomorrow.

    I am not greedy. I will take any success by the Bulls. That's why I am heading to Austin and not waiting to trek to Omaha. Besides, I think I may prefer Texas BBQ and Tex-Mex to steak, steak, steak and steak.

    I agree with the first comment on many counts. We are loving it up here and Tampa seems to be doing just fine without me. We do, however, miss all our friends down there -- like you and your lovely bride. Hopefully we'll catch up sometime this year.

    Getting excited. Got a hotel about a mile from the stadium where USF is playing in the Baseball Super Regionals and about a mile from the Museum of the Weird, which may be the same thing.

    Yes, and I followed up and just got two myself so on to Austin.

    In follow up, 800-GO-BULLS told me the USF allotment is gone. So I will either watch from afar or just take a pleasure trip in to Austin City Limits.

    Interesting. Though still a donor, I didn't receive any email and when I go online to access my ticket account for purchase it says the page doesn't exist. Hope they get this squared away soon as the Bulls are playing two away games in my NC back yard.
