  2. Meh. Not upset to see him go, just concerned about who might replace him.
  3. No post on the American Athletic Conference Facebook page congratulating him, though there's been one for every AAC player before and after him. I posted to remind them, but I'm sure they'll ignore that. At least they tweeted it.

  5. Or FAU -- Joey Saltwater loves his transfers and landing one that has an attractive wife would be a bonus for him.
  6. Maybe both -- the falling star is meant to symbolize the fall of the Big East football conference while the rocket symbolizes how fast the schools will be out of this conference if they get an offer.
  7. This. If you're not happy with who we hired to replace Doug Woolard, you're probably really not going to like who we get to replace Harlan. We **** about getting rid of Leavitt, about how Heath got a raw deal. We **** about personnel decisions but then want to get rid of our AD who, while he may not be great, is good. The fanbase is weak as it is, the last thing we need is instability. Hopefully his push for an OCS is genuine and we can look back at it as the catalyst that engages the fanbase.
  8. What, Joey Knight wasn't already on USF's mailing list? Color me surprised
  9. A lot of good plays here – if I were to search the ol’ memory banks for the plays that made me cheer the loudest in the early days of me being a fan, these are what come to mind first (that haven’t been mentioned) – not exhaustive in the least. They weren’t all necessarily game-changers, just plays that stuck out in my mind that we talked about around the water-cooler the next day. · A Jackson 51 yd end around vs UL 2005 · Sack / scoop and score @ Rutgers 2005 · M Grothe first TD pass vs McNeese 2006 · M Grothe avoids sack vs Pitt 2006 · E Randolph screen play vs UCF 2006 · B Moffitt INT return for TD vs WVU 2007 · M Jenkins big hit vs Cincy 2007 · M Bonani 43-yd FG vs Kansas 2008 · Goal line stand vs FSU 2009 · K Webster fumble recovery @ ND 2011 · T McCants drags defender @ UCF 2017 - had to mention this one even though I said "early days"
  10. Not only that, but the city of Birmingham is contributing $90 million towards construction. http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2018/03/birmingham_commits_90_million.html#incart_push Hey, at least it only took 20 years for us to get our own locker room at Ray Jay.
  11. HB Toss, HB Sweep, and just when you think we’re in a must-pass situation — BOOM! Draw play up the gut. Brilliant.
  12. Could be worse. We could be sponsored by Natty Light -- though I think they'll be looking to attach their name onto UCF's "Natty" banners.
  13. Nonesense, Matt Floyd would be the perfect dual-threat quarterback for the CCS offense: if the play doesn't breakdown and there's no opportunity to throw a pick, he can run poorly and give away the ball on a fumble. That makes him well-suited to run the HB dive 65 times per game.
  14. While it'd be cool, nothing Seminole attached to us, please.
