  1. Usf breaks the touchdown scoring drought and scores 2TDs unfortuneately Houston still owns TOP and wins 31 - 14, breaking it open in the fourth as the defense gets stranded out there for 40 minutes again.
  2. Rocky needs to win this week and have two of the following three to lose ECU, Western Kentucky, Toledo. If that happens then rocky will have secured a playoff spot and would then be playing for seeding.
  3. Not surprising its pretty much the same players. CWT will some time to straighten this mess out.
  4. Lynch actually had a pretty good game. Whenever the Ville gained yards on the ground it was the right side of the line, not the left where Lynch is. He was getting double teamed all day so I don't blame him for celebrating when he finally gets through it.
  5. Today Bench 4 - 12, Eveld 3 - 5 and White 1 - 2. Is Floyd still on the team? At this point I guess it doesn't matter who is at quarterback, this offense is just not doing anything.
  6. The GOOD - Defense played hard the entire game and didn't show signs of wilting as the game went on. Good when you consider that Louisville held the ball 3x more then we did. The BAD - Defense couldn't stop the 3rd and shorts contributing to the long time that Louisville held the ball. The UGLY - Offense. A recurring theme. This is the first game I can recall where we didn't get enough yards to get the Free Pizza for ticket holders. We are also now 12 quarters without an offensive touchdown. Enough said about this continuing disaster. This team could be decent (not great) if it had any offense at all.
  7. Back to giving the other team points again.
  8. I think with that pass bench has now completed more than Eveld has.
  9. Sarcastic but unfortunately relevant question. Have we gotten enough yards to get the free pizza from Kanes Furniture yet?
  10. figures we finally get some offense and then a TO
  11. offense is just going to get worse we can't complete enough passes to keep the defense honest. So on every play we are looking at 8 and 9 men in the box. Tough to run under hose circumstances.
  12. Considering that Bench and Eveld are hurt do you put in Floyd?
  13. The offense is offensive. There is no offense on this team at all. If we only had a top 100 offense we would be a decent team. Its obvious the opportunities are there but the offense just doesn't do it.
  14. Looks like its 10 quarters without a touchdown on offense. And the D is getting worn down.
  15. The D steps up big time, could be a game changer
  16. I totally agree we need to snap the ball with as little time as possible left on the play clock and just pound the ball all day long. Eat up the clock and keep Teddy and company on the sidelines. I just hope that Coach Chucky B doesn't decide to rush 3 down linemen and drop 8 into coverage like he did in the first half against UConn. If UConn's receivers could catch and their QB was a little more accurate we would have lost on Saturday. Plenty of drops and complete over or under throws to WIDE OPEN receivers, Teddy Bridgewater will light us up if he tries that garbage. I was disappointed that Coach Chucky B didn't use lots of pre-snap movement and exotic blitzes against a true freshman QB making his 1st career start to create some confusion!. If he tried pre-snap movement and fake blitzes the only team he would have confused was ours
  17. The best RBs are Shaw, Tice, and Davis.Shaw is shifty and quick, Tice is strong and has some moves, Davis just plows over people, like the Dump Truck. Pierre is number 4 until he shows something. He seems to run to darkness.
  18. The Good - Defense was able to get key stops, adjustment to put game in hands of QB proved the right move. Frosh showed that they can play and are getting experience. Kloss is once again the teams scorer. The Bad - Offensive passing game still looks like pee - wee league, receivers not getting open. First half run defense (especially first quarter) was bad. The Ugly - In a recurring theme, QB play was poor. Better protection today but Eveld panicked frequently and scrambled when he didn't need to. Decisions on fielding punts or letting them go continues to need work. The offense today showed that it can work if the QB can complete passes. USF's two offensive drives at the end of the first and second halves had the UCONN defense back on its heels reacting instead of attacking. It is interesting that 75% of Evelds completed passes were on those drives (first half 3 of 9, second half 3 of 4). The first scoring drive also had a pass completion.
  19. UCONN beat us twice without scoring an offensive touchdown and now we return the favor.
  20. Thats three drops ints on this drive How many chances are we going to get?
