    I respectfully disagree, however our fan base is much smaller that the big three. Either way USF is in Tampa Bay and is huge part of the community. The local media should embrace this school like they do up north. People will get on board with more support.

    This is Texas Tech’s AD and the chairman of the CFP. He’s has been vocal about pointing out how G5 teams win’s are not equal to P5’s wins when comparing win-loss records. He’s the reason why USF and c can’t even be ranked fairly or particate in the CFP. Hopefully he’s eating some crow today.

    Agreed! I think Cronkrite will be the hammer next year and will be the starter. I’m excited to see him and think he’ll be an upgrade, particularly in short yardage situations.

    Agreed, but the local media continues to refuse to embrace our fantastic university. They refuse to see anything the old and tired big 3 narrative. Change is hard, especially when it involves making money. This town needs an enema.

    I’m so grateful for this senior class they gave us everything they had. USF should build a giant bronze statue of Q on campus, perhaps at the new football facility if/when it gets built. Every football player to aspire to have the heart that guy does.

    I’m shocked we’re at .500 right now. This is great job by CBG and the players. I’d love to see us get some conference wins and maybe upset the tinmen.

    Do you know what the the difference is between ESPN, Rivals, and 247 rankings? I usually look at 247, but for no specific reason other than Tito use to work for them and I know he’s a fellow Bull fan which makes him trustworthy in my book. It’s strange that Roland is ranked at 80 in espn and the two qb’s are ranked higher, but only three stars. This is what I was eluding to in my first post. These rankings appear to be based on some persons opinion and sometimes what schools are recruiting the player. How do we really know how good our class is? Is it best to follow one recruiting site over another?

    It’s a great point you make and I do understand that. When I say splash players I’m mean 4 and 5 star players with high potential to be impact guys at any position . Q, I believe, was a four star recruit. I believe we may have landed a few other 4 star players since we were relegated to the land of G5’s. I could certainly wrong about that of course. UCF looks to be signing Richardson a 4 star RB from Memphis. I know CCS is touted as seasoned recruiter. I was hoping we’d win one or two of the battles and land one of the big fishes. I also understand this class could turn out to be the great USF class ever so by no means am I down on this class.

    I respectfully disagree, Q was a splash player. His stats, USF records, and the football program’s rise since he took over at qb is proof of that. Regardless of how he was listed by schools who were actively recruiting him he was a four star player. Q was getting offers for major P5’s just not at QB. We obviously recruited him at QB. My point was that we and other American Conference teams usually can get the occasional 4 star player. I haven’t seen that yet this cycle, but it’s not over until it’s over. It seems so far we haven’t been winning any of the big recruiting battles.

    I’m not saying that any of the recruits are not good. I believe you when the tapes are good. I’m hoping we are good at QB for a few years.

    Bulls247 have him to IU. I read recently that our Bulls currently have the second best class in the American to this point behind Cincinnati. I’ve been reading through all the recruiting reports I can and it seems we’re not winning very many recruiting battles. I feel like we not getting any splash players, like Q. I’m basing that on the star rating system, which is probably a worthless and baseless system. I’m very concerned about the Bulls inability to land any “game-breakers”. I guess we’ll see what happens. Btw thanks for all the great recruiting updates you always provide.

    We play Texas Tech back in Birmingham. I’m bummed out, but mostly because I’m not a fan of Birmingham.

    Yeah, I’m bummed out we’re not watching USF fight for our first championship. Hopefully, one day we’ll live to see us win some championships.

    I agree with your sentiment. I’ll never understand how people who claim to be Bulls fans would root for any other Florida team regardless of who the coach is or what they may have done while they were here. My only interest is the Bulls winning.

    Tough loss to ND, but way to bounce back today with a win. This team maybe able to do something this season.

    I’d love to see us get another crack at FSU in Annapolis. If we could somehow beat the noles and get ten wins in consecutive season I’d be happy with that.

    I have the worst feeling we’ll be playing in St. Pete, but let’s hope for something better.

    Thanks Q, for all the great memories. You got more heart than any player in cfb. You gave it your all for us and we love you for it.
