You have a LB that can run a 4.2 40? What are you smoking and can i have some? Maybe you moved a CB or Safety to play LB, but if you did that you would weaken your already paper meche run defense. I think its safe to say no LB in college football that is big enough and strong enough and can tackle runs a 4.2 if he can then i guess im missing all the NFL scouts and and Butkus award committee drooling over him. Really though pass that stuff homie 8-)

We ran down leak several times, but to run a QB down before he can make a good through is a different story. Even they had a hard time running down Moffett before he was able to make a throw. Grothe on the other hand can only run, not throw. I cant wait till Johnell Neal takes Grothe out of the game and caves the little fruitcakes chest in. Your forgetting HE IS FASTER THAN LEAKE your front seven runs like they are in quicksand he will be able to evade set his feet and throw.  Also good luck with those LB's in pass coverage and you guys havent proved that you can stop the run.  Your d is full of question marks, ours is a proven commodity, remember the trouble you guys had scoring last year? This is pretty much the same defense and dont bring up losses on the D-line as you couldnt score till we but in the 3rd team.  Defense wins football games and i think you lack the team speed and run defense to do so.  You have one good unit on your D...the Linebackers. You gave up like 250 passing yards to FIU. Our offense is much more high pwered than FIU and that was at home. You have to go away and face UCFs offense. First, you better hope your LBs have a good game cuz thats all you have on D. Last time O'leary worked with our offense we went 8-1. After this weeks debacle he personally worked with our D and made Linebacker changes. You will probably being seeing man coverage and speedier LBs. Your front 7 is slooowwwww, chris leak is no vince yount or mike vick, hes prolly slower than grothe. Only reason people think of leak as scrambler is hes black. Basically if you cant run down Leak your front 7 has no defensive speed END OF STORY SON!!!! Your secondary has talent and our QB is young and could make some bad throws, thats the only thing that scares me about your defense.

Actually if (and I know this year that's a big if) we beat them badly year in year out, it won't be a big draw as it will become boring. yeah but you cant Assume that we will. If it plays out that we stomp them tomarrow and 2 more times then that arguement can be used. If we did indeed sweep the series in convincing fashion then yes drop it we have nothing to gain from it, but if the series is a split or 3-1 and all the games are close this could turn out to be a bitter rival for a long time to come. Both programs are going to grow, its hard not to get better at football in this state its a matter of is there huge gap between the programs, if not it should stay as it will be a good draw as long as its competitive and would be even more with some controversy.

A little off? We weren't a full Division 1 A program until the 2001 season. Going by that, we're 26-22 in that time. What is UCF's record vs. 1 A programs in the same time period? Everything will become clear when we break Grothes arms this Sat. yes because you have such a fierce pass rush  :

Who here follows UFC and or Pride just curious to see who's a fan. Also whats your opinion of the two orginizations? Myself Pride>>>>>>>>>>UFC UFC has maybe 2 fighters that can match up with Prides top fighters. The only ones i can see matching up for a good match/wins are Matt Hughes (dude is a beast in his weight class and very well rounded) and Liddell (Only because he drops bombs and stands a punchers chance). Other wise pride dominates UCF especially at heavy weight.

Hey Smazza, You have a point. I would have to concede that USF has the better team until proven otherwise ON the field. However, from general perceptions I dont think there is a distinction made as the #1 step-child in Florida. In addition, the UCF team you played last year was the remenence of a debacle that started with something similar to what USF is going through right now. If I were you, I would be realistic and realize that the same thing can happen at USF. Lets break it down. USF Short History, Great Stides BCS Status Used superior strategy of playing lesser teams to build and then beating several marquee programs. Not many starters in NFL name recognition average Defeated UL and Pitt No OCS Poor revenue streams Small Fan Base Average Facilities Average Academics Lower Football Academics Standings Less Publicity BEAT UCF UCF Long History Scheduled Marquee programs and constantly got beat down except for the Daunte Days. ~dozen starters in NFL Name recognition average Never defeated ranked team OCS Larger Fan Base Better Revenue streams as of 07 Excellent facilites Average Academics Higher Football Acad. Standards More Publicity LOSS TO USF I would say the programs both have their advantages. You may disagree with my analysis and I appreciate your opinion. However, I think there is no #4, just 3 and the rest. USF being #4 is a figment of your imagination along with the rest of the fans on this board. Most of the "publicity" UCF received last year was due to the pat on the back they got for actually managing to win a game. When you're the only team in 1A to not win a game, *any* kind of victory is going to get you decent attention on Sportscenter. People felt sorry for you! In addition, we will be destroying you Saturday. I have been watching USF on catch 47. Your offense looks like a HS offense. Ill take last years team against Pepps teams because Pepp wouldnt get the ball off he would be on his back.... As for our offense we run that good ole gimmicky spread offense that was an Urban Myer/Rich Rodriguez creation (i am not a fan). This offense is what is envogue right now in college football (even though i hate it as good LB speed [which you guys lack] and a steady disciplined secondary can stop it dead in its tracks). If you want to say something about our offense talk about our lack of experiecne in the back field.

Pac 10.>>>Big East USC would murder everyone in the BE by atleast 3 scores.  Cal was disappointing against Tennessee but would merc most BE teams aside from WV who matches up to expose their weaknesses.  Oregon is extremely underrated and could prolly beat all the big east teams except UL and WV.  The pac 10 runs prostyle offenses and has great speed which would pose alot of problems for BE teams on defense.  The only real offensive powerhouse the BE has is UL and WV, and WV runs the gimmicky spread O which can be exposed and shut down by teams with good defensive speed.  btw the no, never option is stupid

with what ive seen from the d-line so far it could get ugly. We have alot of time to improve for that game which is a good thing as we need to see a world of difference from what we have seen so far.
