    Ah, we are back to pretending that CWT recruited him. CWT showed up and we had no QBs. He asked who we were recruiting and it was White. So he offered. It was White's best offer so he took it. This was not CWT genius. It was desperation and taking advantage of legwork already done.

    Players know long before there is a ream meeting. Reminds me when my company had a series of layoffs. Management was mad because the employees always knew when layoff day was coming. They thought all the employees were stupid. College players are not stupid.

    Once again an reminded that we should not be putting big money behind a coach. We should be hiring a dirt cheap head coach and putting $1 mil + into the best QB room we can buy using NIL. That is all.

    Mike White is in the NFL, QF is not. That doesn't mean QF should not have ended up the QB. But it does mean that Mike White was a lot better on a tire fire USF team than anyone ever gave him credit for.

    I will be on board if he can bring back Wally Burnham as his DC, the real key coach behind the Bulls of the Big East.

    Chris Simms led the Bucs to the first Gruden playoof appearnce in three years, then very nearly gave his life for the Bucs and the team. And all Gruden did was complain that Simms required coaching, unlike Brad Johnson or Brian Griese. Doesn't sound like a guy that likes to develop QBs. Sounds more like a guy that likes to call plays and not actually coach young players.

    If she is responsible for the football team, then she is responsible for making us a Pre-eminent university on the cusp of AAU status. I will take that over a fake National Title any day.

    Obviously we would be in the National Championship game and brought into the SEC right after the announcement.

    New coach will almost assuredly bring in his own staff. But I would not mind seeing a real defensive coach with fire that can recruit and let Trickett run with the offense.

    Yes, the locker room was terribly divided. Why would that be?

    Was he a Bucs coach under John McKay? He would have to be 95 yo by now.

    As did I. The report was fine until the end when reporting showed what he was doing. And that is just what was in the report. What was being whispered by the players was worse. At any rate, he is never coming back.
