  1. Imagine how rough it will be for the 40 on-field cops on horseback when huge section of all 25 students decides to storm the field.
  2. probably the worst thing USF ever did or 2nd to the cjs hire. I thought this logo was some kind of april fools joke. so glad it was reveresed.
  3. Yeah. That was the day that a good amount of folks really came out. The outcome was sad. I had a bad feeling about the rest of the home games after that. I really hope people come out for this one, but I think with many of the students out of town, it may not be a very good showing in that north end zone. I hope I am wrong.
  4. You're not wrong to feel this way. I hope our team is only thinking about Saturday, too. Nothing else matters at this point. Lots on the line for us, and although many people will be tuned into other games, we'll be nationally televised in prime time. These are 2 things that typically haven't helped our case in the past. Go Bulls!
  5. I like this approach vs getting p5 rejects from the portal. Portal guys (there are exceptions) don’t live up to the hype.
  6. This would be a dream. We would have a hell of a shot at winning this one.
  7. On the bright side, we'd get one more chance to end our relationship without them getting the best of us...so maybe I'd gamble the chance of taking yet another crotch-kick.
  8. My favorite ones are/were: WVU: Always a great game. Always meant something big to both teams. UL: We'd trade wins back and forth with these guys. Buttgers: No matter how bad they were year after year, Schiano always had our number. These guys broke our hearts so many times, that the rage/hatred still lives in me. UC: Another conference mate dating back to the old days. Always a great game, and the annual "chili cookoff" tailgate will be missed. Central Orlando: I know many of y'all will say no to this one, but yes. If you are passionate about not listing them as a rival, then you are lying to yourself...You are not indifferent. You HATE them. They HATE us, and we HATE them, and no matter what conference they go to or what conference we are in, we will continue to HATE them. EDIT: right after I posted this, I realized that every one of these teams would most likely mop the floor with us right now. . Sad.
  9. Can’t get too cocky going into this one. See UAB and FAU.
  10. Them going to the b12 is having the same effect as when we 64-12’d them. Made us look in the mirror and say “what do you want to do with your life?” Maybe the kick we needed.
  11. Our rival is ourselves. We can't seem to get out of our own way.
  12. Here's hoping it F'd up their process this week!
  13. I agree with this. If something like that happens, take it. We are in no position to be choosy. We are George Costanza.
  14. If OSU and WSU are considered "left behind" then we must be "left out."
  15. At the same time, we can't go in with that attitude. Have to play this one like its the only game on the schedule. No talk of Charlotte until the clock on Friday's game is at 0:00.
  16. The craziest part about our shooting being so BAD was that it was like CMU couldn't miss. They were hitting everything for a while there. The one guy from CMU (forgot his name) had a career best night.
  17. Sounds like the team pulled a "Colorado" after winning so big last week.
  18. Yep. I think when Hooters started and became successful, we saw lots of new wing joints popping up in the local neighborhood. I can remember: Mugs n Jugs, Knockers, Melons. My favorite when South Park got into the game with "Raisins"
  19. I know it means nothing to say "we are due"...because it hasn't worked in years. But we ARE due for a nice national TV upset. Maybe Friday is our night.
  20. Let's put it into applied mathematics for the UCF grad. According to: McDonald's Menu Prices (Updated November 2023) REALMENUPRICES.COM McDonalds is arguably the biggest name in the global fast food industry and they serve an astonishing 68 million customers each day. This company has grown substantially... The price of a large fries is $1.89. So for $30MM you could get 30,000,000 / 1.89 = 15873015.873. On your cash register, you'd have to hit the button with the picture of the large fries over 15 million times. That's alot of fries! So T-Mobile is paying USF enough money to buy 15,873,015 orders of large fries, and you'd still have some change left over. The same basic mathematical principle would apply to say chocolate shakes or hot apple pies.
  21. Just had a conversation with my neighbor about the portal and how it seems like the good ole fashion HS recruits and FCS/D2 kids are still the most reliable and turn out to the be best diamonds in the rough. There are exceptions. But I don't get as hyped about the p5 portal transfers as I used to. I remember the last year of CJS with all the hype that we had the best incoming portal class. We went 1-11. I know the coaching was bad, but 1-11.
