  1. Good take If college players are getting paid then they should play WWW.ORLANDOSENTINEL.COM Sadly, bowl games are rapidly turning into glorified pre-spring scrimmages where...
  2. Ok, that’s a whole different scenario. I could live with that. But like you, no way I would make the first phone call.
  3. I think I 99.9% disagree with you. This wouldn’t be like adding the last piece of the puzzle to challenge the playoff committee. But IMO it would ruin any chance at year 3 with BBrown.
  4. Crazy question - Would you take Penix as a grad transfer?
  5. What classy players on both sides of the Rose Bowl. None of the chippy BS that I’ve seen in most every other game.
  6. How many posts did we have 6 months ago that said the 12 team playoffs were the saving grace of college football? Now it's killing the bowl system. Crazy how quickly times are changing.
  7. I was under the impression that all the divas and momma’s boys went home crying cause they didn’t get their way.
  8. Just my 2¢ opinion, but nothing is going to happen until the FSU suit is settled.
  9. Sicko's? Did you see the guy at the USC game that has been to 84 college games so far this season, and has plans to make it 90 with the Championship game? Actually not sure it was USC... Whichever game it was raining.
  10. IMO this is a MUST READ for everybody. Who Moved My Cheese? is a simple parable that reveals profound truths. It is an amusing and enlightening story of four characters who live in a "Maze" and look for "Cheese" to nourish them and make them happy. Two are mice named Sniff and Scurry. And two are "Littlepeople" -- beings the size of mice who look and act a lot like people. Their names are Hem and Haw. "Cheese" is a metaphor for what you want to have in life -- whether it is a good job, a loving relationship, money, a possession, health, or spiritual peace of mind. And the "Maze" is where you look for what you want -- the organization you work in, or the family or community you live in. In the story, the characters are faced with unexpected change. Eventually, one of them deals with it successfully, and writes what he has learned from his experience on the Maze walls. When you come to see "The Handwriting on the Wall," you can discover for yourself how to deal with change, so that you can enjoy less stress and more success (however you define it) in your work and in your life.
  11. Interesting how many backup QB's are playing their asses off in some bowl games. And funny how some blame the backup for their entire team sucking.
  12. Nobody within 10ft of my seat saw the loss of down.
  13. So the announcers on tv had no idea? Then I wonder why Golesh didn't come unglued and throw a fit? They talked to him.
  14. Haven’t watched the replay. Can someone please explain to me how INTENTIONAL GROUNDING is not a loss of down penalty?
  15. Well, I got a “Tough Ass Dude” T shirt for Christmas. Now just waiting for my “We whooped that ass” T shirt.
  16. Agree. Really makes Chip Kelly's idea seem way more plausible. Traveling six times a year for football only vs whatever the number is for all other sports. Football is no longer about student athletes. It's about MONEY. Also found this: FSU vs. ACC: How did we get here? Revenue issues, Grant of Rights and more WWW.TOMAHAWKNATION.COM A breakdown of everything you need to know about FSU’s potential departure from the ACC, from its issues with the conference to why it hasn’t left
  17. I think putting an exciting product on the field and winning games consistently will help with the donor base, #1. And then #2, I also think the OCS, combined with #1 will help with the donor base. And you know what you get when you can add 1 and 2 together? That's right #3. As Golesh says repeatedly, "We will be there when we're ready to be there." One thing is for sure, potential will ONLY give you an opportunity. Nothing else. GO BULLS!
  18. I just noticed a major flaw in the new stadium. ONLY one video board. I think it would have to go in one of the open spaces beside the student section. Or it would look odd sitting between the horns.
