    I don't know the relationships but it would be nice to have Joe Kinnan stay as "offensive consultant". I really think a good chunk of the Gulf Coast Offensie design was his hand not to mention his recruiting contacts in Florida.

    For those in Sarasota-Bradenton there is a group of about 20 gathered at Evie's on University and Whitfield. Though this is the normal alumni location this was not on the official list so it is nice to see the turnout

    When this happens (pending the whole dotted line thing...) lets give some credit to Tom Korun for getting that "I'll be back" statement. That made last night a little more tolerable when CCS left Tampa. It is now clear he went back to Austin to dump the Texas booster and pick up a Bull plane.

    "I wonder if they've ever thought to look into that?" I don't think they have. That would take selecting school candidates, holding interviews and then coming to a consensus. Of course this would all have to happen in a media vacuum. Not gonna happen (well at least that consensus part!).

    Back to the original question..... "Due to weather conditions, the start of the Homecoming Carnival has been delayed until 4 p.m. It was originally scheduled to start at noon. All other Homecoming events, including the Running of the Bulls Parade, will take place as scheduled." Officially disrupted. Since I'm not a betting man what are the odds when something is 100% a sure thing?

    Latest forecast for Saturday is sunny, 88F with wind gust up to 19mph and the best part, a feels like temp of 83F (lower humidity!). Contrast this with the 100+ feels like for FSU. This is usual for the back side of a hurricane to our east. All the Friday outdoor events could be slightly impacted by 'breezy' conditions (gusts up to 20 mph).

    The big screens were even better than I thought they would be and the ribbon was great visually. I did have one problem though. I found myself watching the game on the screens instead of the game in front of me. That is one change with the new screens, they show the game live. It took until the second half to force myself to watch the game "live"

    To me " travel partner" means when other schools visit (Olympic sports) they can easily travel to the other school to simplify road trips.

    The Houston Chronicle is reporting that Houston may have contacted (talked internally, sent a letter, phoned, left an unanswered message, drunkenly tweeted, yelled out the window, wished, etc. etc.) other conferences including B10(2), PAC12.

    True about the combine numbers to back up the great ability shown on tape. Though lacking research (or a typo) its great to see the national recognition beginning ( both for Nicholas and the program!
