  1. Don't put yourself in the position of breaking a law or regulation at RayJay and you won't have to deal with law enforcement.....That simple.
  2. Outrunner wasn't tricked by this question......Good Man!!!
  3. The consumption of alcohol and the violaton of civil liberties are two different subjects.  Maybe you should focus on the issue of cops "breaking the law" and not their excuse for it.  I believe that was the original topic of post. TwillyBull, I agree with you in your point as I posted well be fore yours, the following: "On the flipside, I do hope that if people honestly thought that there was an over use of force or a potential abuse of power, to report these concerns to the HCSO, TPD or whatever agency that officer was representing in order for a full review to take place. This is the only way that the public can keep law enforcement accountable for their actions. I think someone posted that we live in their world....This is incorrect. We ALL live in the same world and ALL must follow the same rules. " However, you cannot ignore one side of the situation -- the alcohol consumption and college students -- and the force that the police are using to keep people in check with the rules. It is a simple matter of cause and effect. If people are going to get liquid courage and start fights in the stands, then guess what....the cops are going to run up into the stands and stop and arrest the fighters. IF those same fighters are going to resist, escape or fight back the cops, then you better believe overwhelming force is going to be used to neutralize the situation. The morale of the story is, FOLLOW THE RULES AND YOU WILL NOT BE EVEN ACTED UPON BY THE POLICE. ;D
  4. Thanks for the info Billy...You know more about the inside workings on campus. I still think though that alcohol should not be served in the stadium when we get our OCS. If USF does allow beer and wine on campus, then let that be legal for the tailgating festivities. But the three hours inside the game should be used to sober up and enjoy exciting USF Bulls Football. Then maybe we wouldn't have fights with liquid courage and then we wouldn't have people trying to outrun or fight the police when they are trying to be held accountable by our law enforcement officers. On the flipside, I do hope that if people honestly thought that there was an over use of force or a potential abuse of power, to report these concerns to the HCSO, TPD or whatever agency that officer was representing in order for a full review to take place. This is the only way that the public can keep law enforcement accountable for their actions. I think someone posted that we live in their world....This is incorrect. We ALL live in the same world and ALL must follow the same rules.
  5. It's amazing that every game thus far, the 200's section in the corner closest to the ship and where the original poster I think was describing.....There has been an incident with the police. Not to turn this into an OCS thread, but when we finally get an OCS, you can forget about having alcohol all together. MY personal view is that there shouldn't be served alcohol at the college games to help mitigate these types of incidents. When it's Sunday at RayJay, I'm buying the first round!!!
  6. Don't forget about a stupid penalty that cost us a touchdown if my memory serves me correct.... This is still plaguing us this year....
  7. You going to call me out like that? Cause I disagree with you? Or was it because I turned your date with me down? I know you smoke the **** (I've seen conversations online of you asking for mens pictures) but that doesnt mean you need to try and hate on me. This is libelous. Be careful what you post...This definately proves my original post as it sure shows your maturity level.
  8. Hopefully, as you both mature, you'll show a little more creativity than stuff like this ... To be honest I could car less if you took me up on the offer or not...What I've observed from your communications, not ust with me, but with many respectful posters is your lack of respect in return.  With that in mind, I kind of ignore your posts except when they are personal attacks as such.  Ergo is another example of your immaturity, lack of self-image or a combination of both... I think you're heart is in the right place loving USF and all, but your methods seem to me a little harsh. To get back on topic, as much as RockyTop (playful jab...no harm ment) doesn't like to see all these threads on the Herd of Thunder and more on football...The college marching band is a critical part to the overall college football experience.  Let's examine the AP Top 10 and see what kind of spirit squads they have....I think you'll find that the branding of the uniforms for all the spirit squads to match the university branding.  This is one major issue with the current HOT uniforms.  The most pressing issue, which is due to a positive growth factor, is we are starting to not have enough uniforms for members in future years if our growth rate stays at its current rate.  Also, not to mention that the uniforms are starting to wear down. I think that the campaign to help donate to the Herd of Thunder is awesome!  Finally the university is starting to realize the importance of making our [uSF] way into the big picture requires the extras such as a high caliber marching band, "HOT" dance squad and a kick-@$$ cheerleading team.  Our football program is young...Our marching band is young.....These are growing pains and we as a USF community need to find a way to work through this and GET'R'DONE. As always, GO BULLS!!!
  9. It is a waste of your time to try to have an educated discussion with R_to_the_Izzo.....
  10. Yes, and it very well could be - most likely. But the hand sign is a given to use. Go BULLS !!! What hand sign?...I don't see one in this picture.....
  11. I own three of those shirts already......And yes they are "cool" and cool to wear!
  12. Good Lord...We're talking about a UCF student here....He should take the easy way out and do Liposuction instead of working hard and losing the weight on his own....
  13. We love you Steve!!! But the "/ you" thing is too much fun...especially when I got burned over the weekend I just love watching others put their foot in their mouth.....
  14. /you are you watching the same game as me?...Because I see our D getting man-handled....OIY! We need to get more pressure on the QB and our whole defense has to do a better job at tackling. /you there is no running game on either side of the ball.
  15. /you is absolutely correct.  Let's talk about UCan't.
  16. Reminds me...when Ean caught MG's pass in the back of the endzone, I leapt off the couch and raised my hands in the air - right into the ceiling fan.  I had the bleeding under control in time to watch the 2 point attempt...  :-[ Next season I'll be an alumni.....you can hire me as your personal EMT.....LMAO!!!!!
  17. Never mind..... :P Good one I finally caught on.... DEE-DEE-DEE....
  18. Think you got me confused with someone else....LOL....Tuba's always have to stand....Unless you are pointing out my shortness which could be construed as me not standing up....LMAO!!!! (Just for reference, I sit in the back row right in front of Dr. Robinson and family on the aisle closest to the student section.) BTW, check out the edit notation below....
  19. We love ya Suncoaster! Scr@w the Big East rule about cowbells....The more the merrier!!!
  20. I'm confused....How did I get into this thread?.....
