How about ESPN's organization of this bowl game..... [smiley=toilet_claw.gif] There was not a college bowl game environment at all....To me it seemed thrown together at the last minute. I hope to God that we do not see B'Ham again! Only bowl games played in January from now on. All in all, excellent win for our team. Excellent win for our University. I am proud to stand with my fellow Bulls (select crowd) that wer at the first bowl game and first bowl game victory in school history. As always, GO BULLS!!!

It all comes down to choices you make in life.  Anyone could have fallen in Burnett's place; having it easy or rough in life and school. And Hauling, I live 15 minutes from Philadelphia. Hey thats all the ECU purple butt pirates have done since you got on this board (other than upperdeck). Your the "garden state" and the armpit of america at the same time. I'm pretty sure the people in the Hamptons hae a fund that send all of the rejects from NY into NJ. Even though JerseyPirate and I are going to be cheering on opposite sides of the ball on Dec. 23, being born and raised in NJ (23yrs) I have to stick up for him on this topic. Did you know PA has more toxic wastelands than NJ (Source: Foster Wheeler Environmental, Inc.) Did you know that NJ is the international home of the B&B at Belmar, NJ; not to mention the neighbors Cape May or Sandy Hook? Did you know that NJ is home to the area's several top Ivy League schools; namely Princeton? Did you know that NJ is the HQ for the US Equestrian team? Did you know that NJ produces the sweetest yellow corn and plump red tomatoes? Did you know that most of NJ is NOT urban (Immediate Philly and NYC areas), but rather suburbia and rural areas (rest of state)? I can claim I've been at the first bowl game and the first women's NCAABasketball game. Only 30 other can say es to that too I hope that I am in the company of multiple thousands of others for our first bowl game VICTORY!!!!!

Do you have a TV tuner card or a A/V interface device for you computer? This way you can either: a)Take the coaxial output of th TiVO to your TV tuner card b)Record to a VHS tape or DVD player and then use the A/V interface device to record in a MPEG file.

Nope since I'm not a Graduate Student and not being paid to be a TA....I actually paid for credits to be a TA. Technically I was an undergrad student like everyone else in that classroom.

I just hope that current and future players understand that CJL and USF will not tolerate drug, team and university violations. Also, your athletic ability and what you contribute to the team will not substitute for mitigation of punishment for whatever the infraction is. I wish Jackie the best of luck in his future endevours. I hope he is able to acknowledge what he did so that he is able to change his ways. GO BULLS!!!

Not withstanding any personal issues that may have gone on the past two years, his performance in the classroom resorting to potential academic honesty violations doesn't put him in good graces with me. This isn't second hand knowledge either. I was a teaching assistant for one of his classes. So, weed or no weed....He still made some bad choices even after bustin' his butt becoming an athlete worthy of a spot on a D1-A team in a BCS conference. He's just gotta grow up. Hopefully, he will look at being kicked off the team as an epiphany in his life and start making some right choices from here on out.

Does any of my fellow students know if we need to get tickets ahead of time for the game atthe St. Pete Times Forum for the Lady Bulls vs. Vandy on Dec. 17 @3pm? Or is there a spcial enterance we need to use at the Forum for students? Thanks in advanced for the info.
