  1. They flew southwest? Hope they don't get the C boarding group.
  2. I thought that happened but my quick google search did not show that. Thanks.
  3. Using men's size ball or women's? Which 3 point line? In any event I would take MBB by 40.
  4. Like the headline noting they were safe now. Grown men missed a flight in Houston and made the next flight. Not sure their safety was ever in question.
  5. No reference to QF returning? Yes losing Mack is huge but QF was the leading rusher.
  6. Heath is in the top 3 all time as USF MBB coach. Bobby Pascal, Lee Rose and Stan Heath. Maybe top 2. If you count NCAA tournament wins as the only barometer he is the best of all time. Says a lot about our MBB history.
  7. When they were reaching for the check were you thinking "Watch out for the fake"?
  8. TJ Weist who coached the first half of the bowl game should get a HC job. TJ Weist who coached the second half of the bowl game should stay a WR coach. Which he is excellent at apparently judging by our WR play this year.
  9. With possible sanctions looming a splash hire will be difficult. I think it pretty likely that Bartow is hired to ride this out for a couple years.
  10. "Drop" does not appear to adequately describe what happened.
  11. Well the reference is to Lee Rose and his leaving Purdue and coming to USF 37 years ago. But with USF basketball we take whatever non-negative mentions we can get. That brings us to the curious case of Lee Rose. He took UNC Charlotte to the 1977 Final Four, but he only had three years of head coaching experience when he came to Purdue in 1978. After bringing the Boilermakers to the Final Four in 1980, Rose unexpectedly left for South Florida. Rose was very good friends with then USF athletic director Dick Bowers. Though he knew he was in a good situation at Purdue, Rose hated the cold weather, and he wasn’t fond of the Big Ten’s rough style of play. Since his best player, Joe Bary Carroll, was graduating, he figured it was a good time to get out of dodge. http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2017/02/08/duke-blue-devils-north-carolina-tar-heels-preview-prediction
  12. Watching the game last night gave me a new appreciation for coaches calling a draw play on 3rd and 23 and settling for the field goal attempt.
  13. Hopefully Taggart is not taking "how to handle the media" training from Leavitt. That will end poorly for both of them.
  14. True. But there are some coaches that have been supporters of the program and whose players have gone to USF. I would have put Garcia in that category. In any event, I agree that it may be more a style issue with Garcia.
  15. In Selvies specific case I think an opposing coach gave Leavitt the info. Still the point on building relationships stands.
  16. Those 3 came in the 2012 class. Meaning between the 2011 and 2012 seasons, so that was Skip's class entirely.
  17. Congratulations. That's a nice blanket, where'd you get that?
  18. Probably closer to 20. There's normal attrition of a couple slots and throw in another 1 or 2 for people unhappy with the new staff.
  19. With the 3 players going to the hospital and Chip Kelly sitting out there he may not get 3.
