  1. I don't disagree with both of your statements, and the control freak part is fact, not conjecture.
  2. I am a Leavitt fan and can tell you first-hand, he is a complete control freak. The man will pretty much take the first FBS head coaching job that offers him unless he's generating interest from multiple schools. UCF or whatever else, he wants control of his own program.
  3. Not for me, I would love to see him get a head job literally anywhere else so I can root for him. I'm not sure what would be more awkward, Jim Leavitt as a UCF coach or Greg Schiano as a USF coach.
  4. Oh that's rich, this is currently a tie for my favorite idea. Also, if you any of you guys do decide to make a sign, it will probably get air time if it isn't offensive because the ESPN guys get way off topic if the game gets out of hand.
  5. I saw it once when I was back in town visiting my family, but can't remember exactly where it was. I think the I-75 and I-4 intersection near the Hard Rock but I could be wrong.
  6. The 'Meanwhile in Orlando' sign literally made me sick when it went up and is now the single greatest billboard in Tampa. A lot changes in 3 months lol.
  7. I get that most have a knee-jerk reaction to losses but this whole thread was just an implosion on CWT when there were clearly other things at play in the Navy game. I would be having the fire CWT conversation if we missed a bowl now after that game. This thread really struck a chord with me because of how personal it got on the back and forth when all I wanted to do is reserve judgement until after CWT got 3 full years. If you haven't read through the entire thread, go ahead and check out what an absolute train wreck it is. You could probably understand why I was re-hashing by the time you get back to this post. Quite simply, we were down 22-17 and we got the ball back with a chance to score a TD to win. We fumbled that chance and then sealed our fate with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. I was just trying to point out the fact that I didn't think that loss would bury our bowl chances. Unfortunately, it now holds us back from controlling our fate in the divisional race. Nonetheless, our arrow is pointed up and the future looks bright.
  8. I think regardless of what happens today in any games, next week's game decided a the west division.
  9. honestly dude, thank god you came around, because this is something we all should enjoy as bulls fans. I'm just glad we are winning. You have to understand that passion is not always ridiculously positive or negative, bucsandbulls, calibull, and others on here were right, we did get it turned around but it's just about patience sometimes. Go Bulls
  10. Yes, I think the biggest thing here is that we aren't going to take them lightly because they have beaten us the last 2 years. It's personal for us, it's not like 0-11 SMU team where we just assume we are going to roll.
  11. We had Syracuse Crunch south plus took a penalty in the final 2 minutes of a tie game and still pulled out a win lol. Good analogy.
  12. yes, but you also weren't being completely ignorant during this process, so no one needs you to apologize lol
  13. Yes, after the Navy game, it was pretty clear that our arrow was at least pointing up.
  14. Not trying to be negative here, but it would probably take an act of God. We are likely headed for St. Pete or Miami regardless of any more wins/losses but winning a conference championship for the first time in school history this year would be awesome.
  15. Right Jim, sorry I misunderstood someone else's post below yours, my bad.
  16. +1 pretty much exactly what I was going to say
  17. Smazza, he did turn it out down, prior to 2003 I think when they ended up hiring Mike Shula maybe? It was prior to the hiring of Saban though. Alabama wasn't the Alabama it is now at that time.
  18. As much as I would too, their offense is hard to recover from if we play an early bowl game. I'd like to sneak into the championship game and get a crack at undefeated Houston.
  19. You can book flights early on Southwest as well and cancel whatever you don't use for free. You can use 100% of that money as credit for a future flight within one year of your original booking.
  20. Adams won't be lost? He's a senior next year. Also, those incoming eligible transfers look good S Austin Hudson (Wisconsin), QB Asiantii Woulard (UCLA), LB Cecil Cherry (Texas), WR M. Valdes-Scantling (NC State), and G Reilly Gibbons (Stanford) who is already eligible but should get a legit to shot to crack the starting 5 next year.
  21. It's funny because even though he typed a bunch of idiotic stuff that he wasn't ever intending to follow up on in the first place, he won't even admit he was wrong (after he said earlier on this thread that he'll admit when he's wrong). Half of this thread is him whining that all everybody does on this board is blame everyone else but CWT. He is more worried about hating on Taggart than rooting for USF.
  22. Told us we have turned the corner and are a bowl team, was more referring to the OP and if we can get to the American championship game.
  23. Even though Miami is a private school, they don't use their money to pay big time salary to head coaches. If they decide to that this year it's one thing, but what they usually pay can afford a G5 coach, a big time coordinator, or somebody out of a job.
