    Possibly they are trying to keep the offense simple for a young qb. Do wish we get BB started with more short and medium passes not so many deep passed. But that could be more BB and not what's actually being called.

    Its been inconsistent but proably not shocking with a young qb. As qb goes so does the offense typically. I do think playcalling could be more creative at times.

    That didn't happen vs UAB or is all memory of game being lost already? I know Navy we did. Yea agree, punt.

    Gus is a slightly better version of Charlie Strong. Atleast he hasn't totally mailed it in and can recruit some which will help new coach when Gus eventually gets fired.

    We for sure need to win these home games. Starting with FAU this week.

    It was we are lucky they can't pass or they would have put up more on us with the open receivers. This defense in general is still bad...its better than last years but thats not saying much. Alot of them are seniors and that is a good thing.

    Everyone did and the coaches....lets see how the regroup this week and respond after that type of loss.

    What I wonder is that on the OC or is that on Brown. We have multiple receivers they aren't all running deep. This offense is very hit and miss. It's not helping the defense at all.

    Problem is other teams face our defense and have season highs in yards and points outside Bama. This defense is going to make getting a bowl game difficult especially when offense has been figured out if you take away the deep pass and clog up the middle we can be stopped. FAU game will tell me alot about what this team...win and look better a bowl game is likely. Lose that one also and I'm thinking no.

    We knew we weren't likely going to win out rest of the way. But getting destroyed like we did...reminds me of the former coach. Was hoping we were past that, guess we aren't.

    Probably due to being down big they got somewhat away from running into a pile. We need more talent at OL and in meantime we need way more speed at RB...none outside Joiner are breaking off a long run. Hopefully we have a fast back we are recruiting.

    He said if the process is good during the week it will show up in the game.....so did the team practice like ass this week? I guess so. I think part of it was the team got a little success and it went to the head, thought they could just roll into UAB and half ass another win like last week vs Navy. Well UAB is faster/stronger than Navy and we saw it get ugly fast.

    This defense while improved some is still pretty bad especially the secondary if we are having to play more backups that worries me. This offense will be as good as BB is he was off and when he does hit a deep pass play perfectly the receiver drops the ball. OC does not help out BB and get him into rhythm at all with his play calling. The lack of offense and quick 3 and outs and turnovers were a big part of why this game just got out of hand quick. Putrid game in all aspects really. For the season we need to win these home games and that starts with FAU next week.

    Yea our response to this game will tell alot. Still think 6 or so wins is still in play. We haven't had a complete game yet. We gotta start games better also.

    The default for this team is to give low effort and its way easier to lose than winning. This team hasn't learned to win means you give all the effort you can week in and week out
