    Hey, the good news is, at least it's just a few years. Still amazing. The first Big 3 team to do well enough to make it to the Orange Bowl took 42 years..... it was FSU.....

    1) Easier opponents in CUSA. 2) But we've only encountered one hard opponent, non-conference. 3) We lost to FIU. Simple addition = We need some recruiting up in this biatch.

    HOLY CRAP!!! You're EXACTLY right..... I know a boatload of students who have bought their tickets through Ticketmaster, including the one right outside the Sun Dome. NOBODY knows about that rule........ someone has done some poor marketing if we needed to be buying tickets from a specific place to have them count for "official" USF tickets.

    If Louisville helped us so much, why did we beat the tar out of them, and not Pitt, UConn, or WVU? Louisville is by far our biggest rival, even if we are not a big rival to them. But I think we get under their skin ;-)

    Yeah but the first thing any fan does when a team has a crappy season is call for the coach's head. If PSU had listened to the fans, I doubt they'd be in the BCS right now in football.....

    I usually don't judge when it comes to things I'm not very knowledgeable about - but I was talking to another former player the other day - and more and more I hear about how players and former players think Rod Smith should be gotten rid of...... even if he shouldn't be, it's a problem that people don't have confidence in a coach and a leader...... that ought to be reason enough to reconsider his employment. I've NEVER heard a player question Leavitt's job; only those who Leavitt has tossed around a bit and they're mad at him for it, but never for incompetence. Does anyone have an insider view on Rod Smith's job security after this season?

    Pitt wouldn't let us be a rival. But they'll just have to deal ;-) Louisville is going to beat the tar out of us next year after we destroyed their season; the only other loss they had was to WVU (by 2 points). That's the same thing that lit our butts on fire, the loss we suffered to them the year before. UConn bites too much to be a good rival, even though we bit more this year (lol). Syracuse.... HAH. WVU - they'll consider us flies to be swatted for the next few years - it'll be a rivarly when we can rival their skills. Cincy - too weak to be a good rival. Rutgers - just don't see a huge rivarly there. UCF...... HAH. No actually they'll just make a good local story rival, like FAU-FIU. I vote for 1) Louisville 2) Pitt 3) WVU in the future

    Actually, I got an E-mail from the Alumni Association like Sunday night. You should shoot them an E-mail or give them a call and make sure they have the correct E-mail for you and that your membership is up to date! May have been a mix-up.

    I don't see enough marketing on campus. I should hear about it from afar; students I keep in contact have told me they don't hear much at all considering how important it is to get fans to go to Charlotte. If potential student leaders can stand out in front of buildings passing out flyers for weeks straight, then they can do so to ensure that our school is represented well at its first Bowl game ever. But of course, that would take a deep-down caring for the school..... I would do it if I were still an undergrad; I can say that with no question. Shoot, I did it for Homecoming, and that's not quite so important. Where are all the former wannabe student leaders now?
