    F- Duemig, how can you rip USF after that performance. A couple of bad plays here and there, but we played well. He doesn't know what he's talking about unless its hockey anyway.

    I agree. Both will be tough games for us, but winning is not out of the question. Syracuse will be tougher since its on the road, and its inside a dome.

    Considering they just hired him in the offseason, I think his job is safe for now. However it should be monitored all year and if more situations come up where there is no sense of urgency, he should be on the hot seat. The play calling in the red zone was pathetic and very predictible. Everyone in the house knew we were throwing the fade to the short side of the field at half because we misused the clock in the last 30 seconds. Peyton saved Smith a little face by making an incredible catch.

    I'm sure you can get a cheapie on gameday at the stadium from other USF fans. There are always extras that people just give away.

    Considering they only completed nine passes, I would say they were pretty inept. I kept saying here comes the QB keeper, and Robinson still managed to make some plays out of it. For three quarters he was their only offense. One trick play (reverse) went for 70 yards, and one toss sweep went for 60. I think Nicholas took a bad angle on that one and the lane opened up. Overall our D was solid though.

    I hate to admit it but PJ looked pretty good today. He needs to be the starter next week for sure. If he looked that good against the PSU defense, then he should be OK versus our Big East opponents. Lets get some W's and make it to a bowl baby!

    The four teams the Big East lost to this weekend were: Penn State, Notre Dame, West Virginia, and Illinois. Rutgers choked against Illinois in the fourth quarter, so it could have been a different story. Who knows, if USF hadn't given PSU 14 points, we could have gone 6-2 this weekend, with one of those losses head to head (WVU over Syracuse).

    Yes we do. We have many advantages over some of the other schools in the league, primarily because of region. Also, this was a major reason why they chose us. Big East rosters are littered with players from FL. Not to mention Tampa/St. Pete is the 12th largest TV market. We Belong.

    I think that year we had two Division 1 AA wins, so we couldn't count them both. And the one year we got screwed entirely.

    I read a box score that said the attendance was in the 97,000 range. Easily the largest crowd the Bulls played in front of.

    I'm pretty sure you can count a Division 1 AA win every four years for bowl consideration. In other words if they use it this year to be bowl eligible (the sixth win), they can't use another Division 1 AA win the next three years. I believe this to be correct, but maybe someone else can confirm.

    I only count 4 wins this weekend from Big East teams. Louisville, West Virginia, Cincinnati, and UConn were winners. The Big East was 4-4 for this weekend's games, including USF.

    Oh, no wonder. There were a ton of Bulldog fans that came storming in and they did change the USF game on the TV we were watching, but we made them turn it back for us. Thanks for the info.

    What was up with the offensive coordinator play calling at the end of the game? They didn't have any sense of urgency when we needed 16 points. We were lucky to get that TD on the fade route. Running the ball twice like that while the clock was ticking down. Also, before half they looked confused because they called a running play without having timeouts left. That OC has to be better the rest of the year.

    Where was the Atlanta Alumini Group? I heard we were meeting at Frankies and only one other Bull was there. Thanks to BeastieBull for showing up. We still had a good time and rooted hard for our Bulls. I guess its like our home games where no one shows up to support the team, but we were there. Where was the rest of the Atlanta contingent??

    I must admit, PJ looked pretty good. He completed 60% of his passes and the ones he missed he should have completed. A few drives stalled when he missed wide open receivers. And for those who think Peyton was in the Dog House, Not anymore. Peyton made plays on the field today. And our D looked impressive. I figure they only gave up 10-14 points at the most. PSU has some questions on offense, more than USF.

    Kudos to PSU, they capitalized when they had to. Unfortunately USF didn't and the score indicated that. Good Luck Lions, Beat those Buckeyes!!

    If UCF plays as well as it did last night against us, we will have a game on our hands. Corso isn't totally off base here.

    Give UCF some credit. They were able to do some nice things against South Carolina. I thought after it was 14-0 that it would turn into a blowout, but to my surprise, they hung tough. I thought O'Leary made some bad coaching moves in that fourth quarter, but the kids played tough. Corso commented after the game that he could see an upset by UCF in two weeks at.....South Florida. Hope that doesn't happen. I know alot of this board bashes UCF, but after last nights performance give credit where credit is due.

    I think its underrated every year. This guy is a so called expert, and doesn't even know the name of a school?? Let alone, doesn't know we play football? Its not like its our first couple seasons? Has he never seen a Conference USA listing from the past few years? What a jackass.
