    They didn't become UCF until 1978 or so. If you look closely at their signage they do pay tribute to that Pegasus. I'm not sure how they became the Knights when Pegasus is the symbol. They should be the Titans if anything.

    Here is UCF's brief history, and they went through a name change. I didn't realize USF is older by a few years. The University of Central Florida was originally named Florida Technological University when it was established in 1963 as part of the state university system. The university received its name and identity from its first president, Dr. Charles Millican, who chose the Pegasus as the official school emblem, and black and gold as the official school colors. Dr. Millican's first major goal was achieved when classes began at FTU in 1968. I wonder if they even know they had a name change in the past........ Go Bulls

    Not yet, I think they release the Bottom 10 on Wednesday or Thursday. Until then, we'll just have to wish it........

    SadUCF, I can't see you guys being better than many out there. 16 straight losses ought to tell you that. Not ragging, just opinion. I saw your game against South Carolina, and while it impressed me, there are some serious flaws, and thats why UCF has lost 16 straight. Should be a pretty close game though, I say USF by 13.

    That is last week's Bottom 10. Notice the records of Washington. They only have one loss listed, even though they got beat again this past Saturday. UCF might be back at number 1, but its hard to move up on a team like Buffalo. I believe they've been shutout twice this year already. Ouch!

    1KoolBull, the only way you are getting tickets that good on the 50 will be through a ticket broker service. Why so last minute on the tickets?? Did something change or was it just not getting around to picking up some? I bought mine the day they went on sale, and a few extras just in case someone I knew needed a ticket. But then again, I'm coming from Atlanta, so I didn't want to do the scalper thing with 12 people in our group.

    I'm sure the kids will be geeked up to play UCF. Most of them have played against them or with them as high schoolers. The downplaying of this topic by some USFers drives me nuts. With that being said. Go Bulls, Beat Knights!

    We'll be feeding Andre for four quarters because it will be a relatively close ball game. I say he goes for 140 or so on 27 carries. Remember last year, we just kept feeding him the ball when we could.

    Yep, that sounds about right to me. Scores and odds has the line as USF -9.5 . I like the Bulls to cover this one, but it will be close (13 or so).

    Beastie, we're planning on meeting at the South parking lot around 2. Nothing special, just food and beer, and a TV to watch the Irish. I'll give you a call once we're settled in at our parking spots.

    I'm coming in from Atlanta this weekend. Can't wait. I'm having a half and half tailgate with USF and UCF people. Its gonna be a great time! Another one in my party is coming from Miami.....

    Bulliever, I'm with you on supporting our conference, but from many posts that I've read, many of our Bulls supporters **** on UCF for nothing more than being in C-USA. The same conference we were in last year. I don't see why so many USFers are holier than thou when it comes to the Knights. I hope we win just like you, but some 'fans' believe it is our birth right to beat that team. That goes along with playing the Knights too. Many USF fans don't think we should be playing them on a yearly basis. I say why not? Many Big East teams play out of conference games with MAC or C-USA teams. Take Pitt for example, they lost to Ohio of all teams just 4 days ago. Why not play UCF..........it makes sense.

    From what I've seen on the UCF board, ya'll have a large number of big headed a** fans as well.

    They better get that stuff rectified by Saturday. It could be a huge part of the game. I'd hate to lose to UCF because we couldn't connect on a extra point or FG....... Go Bulls!

    I don't know about you , but I've been waiting for this game since we instituted football. I have friends that went to UCF and we've been waiting a long time. There isn't much allure to the Big East these days....

    What do you think the UCF attendance will be for this Saturday? I'm hoping for 40,000+ but after the FAMU announced attendance I don't think we'll reach this mark. It sucks. We are a highly metropolitan area, with many alumnus in the area, and we can't break 50,000? Where are all the Bulls fans? I realize that many never had a football team to root for, but now we do, so show for the love of Mike!! It really sucks, because I'm coming down from Atlanta. Yep, another state and yet people in the same town won't even show up for a game. Brutal!

    So, is this prediction contest based solely on score? Just so I know. The last two winners were all over the score. If that is the case, why have so many other categories??

    Why would this game mean more to them? USF should be inspired to play this one too. I don't get this logic? Every game should be important to USF, you know what I mean??
