    Felt more like a lack of personnel than a failure to make an adjustment. We have zero depth inside. Pryor isn’t really a post player, Walker doesn’t have much twitch or athleticism, and Amir seemingly doesn’t trust the other transfers. We have to get bigger next year.

    You gotta start somewhere, and this is the most promising start to a coaching tenure that we’ve had in a long time - maybe ever, when the season is complete.

    Our fouls were legit, but the issue was it wasn’t called the same on both ends. Refs showed very early that they weren’t going to let us play a physical game. And UAB had the right game plan - take it inside and don’t settle for jump shots. I can’t remember a game when the opponent was in the double bonus earlier than today.

    UAB has a proud hoops tradition. Best thing about today’s game is we NEVER gave up and went away. When they went up 10, we came right back at them. That’s going to keep us competitive in almost every game this season.
