I have a good feeling about this season. We may not win the conference but I see a 7 or 8 win season. Time to get after it. Make out own history. This team reminds me of the USF teams of the early 2000's they have a chip on their shoulders and don't have big heads like the teams of the holtz teams or even last years team. No one feels we belong and we are going to show the country we are back on track.

Let’s start off on the positive. I like the guys we have at LB strong fast and know how to get to the ball. I expect some creative stunts with the new 3-4 D. It’s time we get back to the LB play of the CJL days and I think this group can and will get us there. Youth Youth and more Youth. I’m most concerned about the lack of snaps in the back field. We are starting a RFrosh at fullback and when it comes to the Tailbacks less than we have less than 40 carriers among the whole group. GO BULLS

It took you this long to realize this. It kills me when I think back when we hired Skip.Where we would be now if we took LRS' advice and hired coach T when we let go CJL

so in other words play mostly 4-3 but instead of switching out the tackles and ends with fresh players move to 3-4 for few plays to give the linemen a rest. I recall seeing more and more pro 4-3 teams doing the same thing from time to time.

Would have been nice if Willie T had dumbed down the playbook from the get-go. All the motion, shifts, reads, looks, etc were too much for the team to handle. I think his stubborn pride got in the way. I remember Tampa football fans saying the same thing about another Tampa Bay area football coach and he won a super bowl here. I’ve been saying this since coach T got here, his style is night and day than that of Skip and will take time to get everyone on the same page. IMO Taggart knew that the team last year was nowhere near a AAC contender let alone bowl quality so he used last year as a let’s see how things go season. I don’t think anyone thought it was going to be as bad as it was. You have to give Coach Taggart credit he stood his ground on his style of play and kept with it unlike Skip which seemed to change his style of play every other week. I expect nothing less than a 7 win season which where we were last season i would say is a huge step in the right direction. I have Bull goggles on just as much as the next USF fan but there is no way in hell this team wnis 7 games next year lol Its not that far fetched if you look at it. All but sure wins vs Western Carolina, UConn, ECU, Tulsa, Memphis. Feeling good about SMU, UCF (big down year for them), Think we have a shot vs Maryland and NC State.

Personally I like UK style of play more than Duke so I'm going to say USF
