Unfortunatly the team did not make it to NCAA competition. They finished third in the conference tournament and did to receive an at large bid. Our No. 1 doubles team did make it to NCAA competition. They will start play on May 23 in Gerogia. IRVING, Texas – USF’s doubles duo of Neyssa Etienne and Gabriela Duch earned at a-large bid to participate in the field of 32 at the NCAA Doubles championship South Region. The Bulls' pair of Duch and Etienne went 10-3 in doubles this season and are currently ranked 19th in the country. In singles, sophomore Neyssa Etienne was selected as an alternate 64-field of singles players. Etienne was 13-4 in singles this year, including wins in each of her three matches at the Conference USA Championship, leading the Bulls to a third place finish. The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 23-28 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia, following the conclusion of the team championship (May 19-22). The University of Georgia will serve as host. All matches shall be the best of three sets. Regular scoring and a 12-point tiebreaker at six games all will be used for all matches.

Here's some indie information before if comes out in the press. Quarterback Wyatt Sextson was arrested last night at a local sports bar in Talahassee called "A.J." He was arrested for contributing to the deliquency of a minor by offering his drinking band to a young gentleman. Further details will be provided when they come avaiable. This is second offseason arrest for FSU football. At the end of Feb. linebacker AJ Nicholson was arrested for driving under the influence. He blew a .1 on the breathalizer.

(April 29, 2005) Tampa, Fla. -- USF’s number one singles player Neyssa Etienne leads a group of four of Coach Gigi Fernandez’s players to earn all-Conference USA honors. Etienne earned distinction on the first team, while Courtney Vernon was named to the second team and Liz Cruz and Gabriela Duch earned third team honors. Etienne was 13-4 in singles this year, including wins in each of her three matches at the Conference USA Championship, leading the Bulls to a third place finish. Along with Duch, Etienne was 10-3 in doubles. Vernon finished the season with an 11-5 record, playing all but one of those matches at number two singles. Cruz compiled a 21-6 singles record while playing at the three, four and five spots, and Duch was 18-9, playing mostly at number three. Conference USA women's tennis players will now wait for the NCAA selection show that will take place on Wednesday, May 4, approximately 4:30 p.m. (CT) on ESPNEWS. Individuals chosen for the singles and doubles championships will be announced on May 5 by 5 p.m. on the NCAA's Web site. First- and second-round team competition takes place on May 13-15 at 16 campus sites that have yet to be determined. The 16 teams advancing past the first and second rounds travel to Athens, Ga., to finish the remainder of the tournament over May 19-22. hey guys, football was out before this remember?

The arcitects are going to be on campus monday and i will be at one of their meetings so i will let everyone know what's goin on. They said they pretty much know what needs to be in it, now they are looking for more of a design and atmosphere concepts. The SEC is also coming down in january. If you have any Special Events Center memories, now is the time to revisit them!

No idea when it's going to be compleated, but i'm sure surveys will be floating around campus from student government sometime in the fall. Just keep an eye out for it.

I've sat on the MC renovations committee and i can assure you that everything will be top notch and i can also assure you there will be a USF themed bar and grill. I'm 100% sure. Everyting else will be determined though surveys that will be going around campus as soon as they get things going. You can give a big thanks to USFGriff for getting everything rolling when he was student body president. ALso a shout out to USFMikeB for all his help with the MC renovations when he was senate president. They were huge parts of the process.

no, we will not compete in them this year, we have the c-usa tournaments to go through. We are booked to host the big east tourney for tennis here for the next few years.

Well Lord Sheriff, I am a former SG senator, i don't have to be politically correct. I was on senate during Mike B's term and i voted for the 50k. As for a student complaing to the oracle about me calling them cheap, they can be my guest, nobody would see it anyway. It wouldn't hurt my feelings

the 50k was planned out from extra money SG had at the time. The game cast $4 for students. There was no time to gather funds for the game either. the turnaround time from the announement to the game was too little. FOUR DOLLARS people. quit your ********.

You gotta understand that there was no announcement about hosting the game until earlier in the week. Is everyone supposto stick around and wait for the announcement? No. I didn't even get to go to the game because i was out of town and i haven't missed a women's basketball game pretty much all year. I even went to UCONN with them. Sometimes it happens man. Next time bring a flute.
