  1. We're playing for W's and bowl eligibility right now. This wont get us ranked either way, so all that is left to care about is putting up enough of those W's to get the bowl game.
  2. The cartoon choices are really weak. Simpsons, Family Guy, Tom and Jerry (if you like classics), the old X Men, Southpark, these are better. Ren and Stimpy brings back memories though. And if you're going to go anime, Dragonball Z is only scratching the surface. There is far better anime out there, check out Berserk. 1. Dan Marino ( : ) 2. Sex 3. Family Guy (comedy) Berserk (action) 4. No 5. I live in Tampa, and know very little other than 5 star and the biggies since I am a college kid. Any recommendations?
  3. WRONG. FSU lost to Miami and Maryland. That leaves them with 2 conference losses. Miami has the tie-breaker on them, so they need another Miami loss to prevail. Also, UVA and Va Tech are BOTH sitting with ONE conference loss. UVA, Va Tech, and UM all still play each other. It's pretty safe to say one of the 3 will be ACC champs. FSU needs either Va Tech or UVA to beat Miami, but they ALSO need that same school to lose to the other one in Virginia. So Va Tech, UVA, and Miami are all in the drivers seat, and will take it by winning out.
  4. And he needs to have that privilage removed after what he said repeatedly about Utah. They're good, but they dont have the same challanges week in and week out? Wyoming beat ole miss. In fact, only at the top are BCS schools THAT much stronger than any other. Utah did some handy work on A&M and UNC, both which are improved this year. My roomate also told me he literally "gagged" on national TV at the thought of the Utes getting a bowl. This guy is a joke. Apparently he doesn't know what he's voting for. It's not "most challenged teams". It's "who is the best". Holding the Utes at 10 just because they're MWC is shallow and very ignorant, though it is better than the azzholes who dont vote non-BCS at all. BTW, that MWC that's not top 10 material went up 52-10 on colorado state, BY HALFTIME!!! They proceeded to take their starters out soon after that.
  5. Biomedical Engineering homework. Give me a can! That's why I'm Accounting now.
  6. Not me. We pick up Franks and our running game improves. Hobbie, after WEEKS of trying to put it in the air 30+ times with Julmiste, finds out that we can run the ball and does so more often. I'm not sold on Hobbie yet at all. The only way he stays in my eyes is if our offense is almost that good or better weekly.
  7. He needs to stay it now, too. The guy is GREAT. RB coach has done a terrific job too. We could easily become a great running team if we keep getting guys like this.
  8. It is important to get impact players every year, if you're aiming for the top!
  9. 6-5 gives us a GOOD chance. 7-4 is practically guaranteed. We beat cincy, we've all but knocked them out. TCU still plays USM and UL. UAB must beat army. Memphis, should we beat them, is not a lock either. There is a chance CUSA wont fill its bowls. We need 3 more wins, and the way the team played today, there's a chance. Hall was one of our best recruiting pickups ever. Now, all we have to do is run the ball more and get away from the spread. I was happy to see it reduced today.
  10. My fact checking verified this. Hmm. Well, Meyer and Mike Price didnt. There are always people to be had .
  11. As long as they support the bulls I dont care who else they coach. Oh, and mr arrogance goes back to UF.
  12. What if we snuck him into UAB's roster? We do have the same colors. We all wish him well, and particularly to get better. QB has been killing us. At some point you blame the coaching for not finding someone there better than # 3000 in the college ranks.
  13. Smazz's got a point. UTEP has done something we haven't...gotten ranked in a poll. As for seeing how they do this year, anything is possible, but keep in mind they have already played la tech, fresno, and boise. The rest of that conference isn't exactly world-beaters. Losing to ASU and Boise is not terrible.
  14. Honestly, should people like me try out? I can throw it at the recievers' feet, too. It will give julmiste a chance to rest his leg for option plays, which seems to be his only viable call.
  15. His habits rub off on his QB, which can tank his way through a freakin' swarm of players. And watch out if he balls up and starts rolling forward!
  16. It's certainly not impossible, but I'm not holding my breath. Judging by the parity CUSA is displaying tonight, we have some wins in our future this season. We dropped the ball by losing to army though, so a bowl game is unlikely. If the team shows some improvement and gets some wins, i'll be happy.
  17. Leavitt has been a good coach for us thus far. One of the key influences on whether we should consider firing is how his team ends the season, and more importantly if it ends it poorly WHAT WILL HE DO TO CHANGE IT in the offseason. Will he can Hobbie? That gives him points in my eyes. Does he make personnel changes? Does the D play with more discipline by the end of the year? How does he do in recruiting? Those are questions that all need to be answered to fire a coach. Up until this year, Leavitt has managed to answer most of those in a positive manner. If USF football continues to be lame for another year and a half, AND leavitt doesnt make the changes, THEN AND ONLY THEN should we can our HC. Of course, lots of people should be taking heat for what's going on right now, but Leavitt is not one of them...
  18. Sometimes you have to rocket the ball. Not very often. And its usually on seam routs or deep outs/ins. Throwing lighter w/ better placement owns throwing it hard. As for another QB, we dont have one this year. Unless you are still eligible, or want to see some 215 lb white kid with no arm (aka me, dont get me wrong I could play dIII, not 1) start slinging it around. Julmiste must be the best guy that can start, or he wouldnt play. Dropsy on the wideouts is frustrating too. Does this team practice?
  19. We are better than this. I've watched this team. I've seen leavitt teams in the past. I don't know who's dropped the ball, but USF football is not about being pathetic. Somebody is going to turn this around. I don't know who or how, but there are boosters, alumni, and a student population with growing interesting all watching the next moves, so they'd best be good.
  20. We lost because we were the worst team. WTF with stomping on the bird. Maybe it has some sort of phermones on it that attracts opposing teams?
  21. So here you go. When South Florida has the ball: The Bulls will operate out of the shotgun and use a no-huddle attack to keep the Cardinals off balance, but the team's strength remains RB Andre Hall (82 carries, 473 yards, seven TDs). He runs behind an experienced and talented offensive line and is complemented nicely by backup RB Clenton Crossley. Hall has more speed than Crossley and is the big-play threat of the two, but Crossley's ability to shoulder a heavy load has allowed South Florida to keep both backs fresh. The Bulls will need to be able to run the ball and control the clock this week. With Louisville scoring 42.2 points per game, USF must sustain long drives and keep QB Stefan LeFors and the Cardinals' potentially explosive attack off the field. However, Louisville has been stout against the run (90.4 yards per game), and without a passing game to balance things out, South Florida's running game will have some trouble. QB Pat Julmiste has struggled with accuracy, completing just 48.6-percent of his passes, and has thrown more interceptions (5) than touchdowns (3). As a result, the Cardinals can load up to stop the run without being at a disadvantage in coverage. When Louisville has the ball: The Cardinals showed just how explosive they can be against a top-shelf defense, running up 507 yards and 38 points in last weekend's loss to Miami. LeFors is the point-man in coordinator Paul Petrino's spread attack, and his ability to make quick decisions is a big reason Louisville is 4-1. However, LeFors (75.6 percent, one INT) suffered a concussion against Miami and is listed as questionable. If he can't play, freshman Brian Brohm would step in. Brohm is inexperienced, but he played well in relief last week and has the size and arm strength to be successful in this scheme. The running game helps provide balance, and although there isn't a true feature back, the Cardinals get solid production from RBs Eric Shelton, Michael Bush and Lionel Gates. Bottom line: When Louisville runs the ball effectively, avoids turnovers and protects the quarterback, it is the best team in Conference-USA. The big question for the Cardinals is whether LeFors will be ready to go. However, even with Brohm at the helm Louisville is talented enough to win this game. On the flip side, South Florida lacks speed at receiver and consistency at quarterback, and without much of a passing game, Hall and Crossley will be faced with a steady diet of eight-man fronts. Look for Louisville to rebound from its heartbreaking loss to Miami with a convincing win over the struggling Bulls. Prediction: Louisville 37, South Florida 23
  22. UL would be better passing than running. USF better not throw it with Julmiste too much this time >.
