You are obviously an astute better. FSU -14 is a sound bet period. FSU-21 is tough because I have seen many college and pro games where some td's in garbage time take an out of control game and make it look better by closing it within 3 td's. I don't bet often. But the Rutgers game was just there for the taking. We can't force Ball State to punt. Imagine was that FSU offense will do to us. Those on here that think we have something in reserve and keep this close, I just don't see it. And, have we ever been shut out at home? Don't see us scoring more than twice. Unless special teams or defense score, and there is no evidence from the 1st 3 games that either will happen, USF gets no more than 14 but just as likely 6. Doubt we will be scoring on a punt return now that Landi is back fielding punts again.

I see your point, but I dont think we would be where we are today without Lee Roy Selmon. He is the one responsible for us leap frogging UCF. He was a great leader and had a vision for us. Without him we would have never left CUSA or even been admitted to CUSA. Sorry, but I feel your agrument is flawed. Actually we were already in CUSA for all sports. It was only right to be in for football. As far as getting into the BEast, you can thank most UL for that. They wanted us. Big East listened. I'm sure Judy and Mr. Selmon had a great presentation, but Louisville and Jurich opened the door. Hopefully Louisville will take us with them again if they get the Big12 invite.

This move might not kill the Big East but what if the ACC takes Uconn or Rutgers to keep an even number of Olympic sports members?

Seconded I have a VHS tape of this game. Don't think I've ever watched it all the way through because I was so disappointed after all the hype.
