  1. We leave at 9:30 a.m. from the Athletic Facility. If you missed my tour I'm sure you are severely disappointed. I'm told I give the best tour of the facility. I'm hoping in the near future to get one of those tour guide outfits looking things. Anyone driving over to the game that wants to follow the buses be there around 9:15 a.m. Eric
  2. I lobbied to have it leave from IHOP or Starbucks but lost that battle. So yes, we will be loading at the athletic facility located behind the SunDome. If anyone has questions, you know where to find me. Eric
  3. Thanks for your overwhelming vote of confidence Zonald! I like to think I've earned some trust over the years. And as far as I know we don't have any openings in athletics!
  4. I'll post again on behalf of the USF Athletic Department, no matter what the Bull Ring is saying, there is no Jim Leavitt show tonight. I'd provide a link but I'm not sure how to link you to the office down the hall from me. ;D Yes, I crack myself up. If you go to the www.gousfbulls.com and then the football page, on the far right hand side of the page is a graphic with Bull Ring and ABC Sports 28. Click on that and that will provide you with the schedule. The next one is schedule for Sept. 21. Eric
  5. I don't know how often they run but there is approximately 12 of them running. Seeing it is only 2 miles to the stadium it should be rather frequently. Eric
  6. It's $5 to park and the shuttle is free for all. Eric
  7. I would reccomend all USF fans parking in lots 3 and 4 on the north side of the TD Waterhouse Center. I have since found out they don't normally open these lots and run shuttles but when we approached them about our tailgate they decided to offer the service. So my guess is most Knight fans will park where they normally park which is not the TD Waterhouse Center. Eric
  8. Man, and to think I thought I covered everything. Transportation is available to anyone that parks at the TD Waterhouse, whether you are attending the USF Tailgate or not. This is a service that I'm guessing they provide every game for anyone that parks their. Just pay the $5 and you are good to go. The drop off point will most likely be the same for those on our bus trip. They usually have one spot for all buses to drop off at. My friend (a fellow Chippewa alum) with the Golden Knights Club told me the TD Waterhouse lots open at 8 a.m. and the shuttles begin operating at 10:00 a.m. Keep them coming. Eric
  9. I hope you all don't mind but there are a few different threads with questions on the tailgate this Saturday so I thought I would start this to be the OFFICIAL information thread. If you want to register for the pregame tailgate being hosted by USF, please log onto the USF Alumni Association website. You must register there. Our tailgate will be under a tent at the TD Waterhouse Center. According to the map I have in my possession, we will be located between Lot #3 and Lot #4 on the North Side of the facility. It costs $5 to park there which includes a shuttle to and from the stadium. These lots are located off of Concord St. between Parramore and Revere Avenue. The address is 600 W. Amelia St. in Orlando (32801). The tailgate will have a menu consisting of your favorite BBQ, beer, wine, water and soda. The USF Cheerleaders will be stopping by to get you fired up as will President Judy Genshaft and Athletic Director Doug Woolard. If that doesn't get you fired up, come see me! The shuttle drop off site is a very short walk from where we are located. It is on the south side of Lot #3 on the north side of the facility. It will then drop you off at Church St. which is a short walk to the stadium. The nearest entrance to the citrus bowl from the drop off site is entrance B. The shuttle will pick you up after the game in the same location to bring you back to the TD Waterhouse Center. Also, as was mentioned in an earlier thread let's be courteous despite what happened last year. Let's show our USF pride with class and dignity despite what I'm guessing will be a non-friendly environment. Remember to take a deep breath and ignore it. If anyone can think of any other questions please let me know. Thanks and Go Bulls! Eric
  10. For the tailgate, just register online at the alumni association website. Eric
  11. Call 1-800 Go Bulls and order them.  If you call me at 974-3481 I will help you get them. I'll either drop them off to you, overnight them, or arrange to meet you at our tailgate. Eric
  12. That is correct on the TD Waterhouse Center parking. $5 includes a place to park and shuttle service to and from the game. And in case any one needs it, the shuttles are handicap accessible so if you are traveling with someone in a wheel chair, they will be fine (we already had one person ask about that). Be safe everyone! Eric
  13. My wife and cat felt it but I didn't. I thought she was crazy. Looks like I'm wrong again. Dang it!
  14. Monday only until 2 p.m. Then ticketmaster. Eric
  15. For the most part, the lots south of the stadium open 5 hours prior to the night games (for today's purposes 2 p.m.) and the north lots open up 3 hours before. Pit, which is a noon start, all lots will open 3 hours before. Eric
  16. Let me tell you how much I appreciate those that show up at 2:00 with tv's and satellite dishes.  Let's me keep track of all the other college football games going on.  Eric
  17. Collin is the communications director for the Bulls Club. Not the entire athletic department despite what he claims . So you can't hold him accountable. Eric
  18. Greetings all: We have confirmed the third bus so if you were on the waiting list you are now on the bus. You will be notified in the next day or so. We still have 15 or so spots left on the bus trip. So if you want to go now is the time. As for the tailgate, it is $35 per person, children under 5 are free, and childrend 5-12 are $15 (I need to confirm the $15 rate but they are discounted). Go to the alumni association website. Jim provided the link for UNC but there is a UCF page as well. Go Bulls! Eric
  19. Omni: Kind of fun calling you that. We do have watch parties throughout the bay area. I have a thread on here but my threads get buried so quickly these days. For you the closest will be the Clubhouse although we may look to do a Pasco location. Next closest will be Selmon's on Boy Scout. For those that missed it earlier, the other watch parties are Selmon's in Bradenton/Sarasota, Selmon's at Tyrone Square Mall, Capogna's in Clearwater. Eric
  20. The HOT brochure was sent to all athletic donors and season ticket holders. It was but out by the USF Fund (they raise funds for the entire university). Please consider making a gift to their cause. As we have discussed several times on here, HOT, the cheerleaders, the SunDolls, and the Rocky's all need financial assistance to continue doing what they do. Go Bulls! Eric
  21. We have a waiting list for a third bus. If you want to be on the third bus, call Amabel Aqui at 974-4223. I'll check on the Lakeland stop. Maybe at some place just off the interstate we could stop and pick some people up. Any suggestions on where that could be? Eric
  22. They will be selling them again on Saturday so if you missed them at the McNeese game, you can get one their. Not only is it a great calendar but you are supporting them financially, which they need very much so that they can get new uniforms, compete, etc. Eric
  23. Ok everyone, we are on our third bus. We need 35 more people to sign up for the bus trip to finish this bus. It is still $88 (bus, ticket, tailgate). Call (813) 974-3162 to sign up today. Eric
