  1. The Student Bulls Club will be holding a watch party at Margarita Mama's at the University Mall. We don't list it with the others because they promote it through their membership. But that might be another good location. The most attended ones will be that one, Clubhouse, and Beef's in St. Petersburg.
  2. The Bulls Club recommends that those interested in watching televised USF football road games, attend a watch party at one of the following locations.  If you want to confirm if the game is being televised that week, please contact the location.  We look forward to seeing you there.  Go Bull! Saint Petersburg - Beef O'Brady's on 37th Ave. USF Area - Clubhouse Sports Cafe on Fowler Ave. South Tampa - Elmers Sports Bar and Grill at 5206 S. MacDill Ave. Pasco County - Beef O'Brady's at 27315 SR 54 West Sarasota/Manatee - Gecko's Grill & Pub at 4310 E. SR 64 Brandon - Barnacles Restaurant at 926 Providence Rd. For more information on having a watch party in your area, please contact the Bulls Club at (813) 974-0406. We may also be doing one over in Polk County and in the Orlando area but am waiting on our volunteers over there.  Go Bulls! Eric P.S. The game will be broadcast on ABC 28 and should also be a part of the ESPN Gameplan package.
  3. Jr. Bulls Club do get in free but we had to stop the complimentary admission for Bulls Club members due to IRS regulations. Hope to see a lot of you there and then at one of our watch party locations after (I'll post those on another thread this afternoon). Thanks. Eric
  4. Hey Everyone: You will hopefully hear some more about this later in the week but prior to the St. Louis/USF soccer match, there will be an over 35 exhibition match between former USF Soccer Players and former Tampa Bay Rowdies players. This game will begin at 4 p.m. One ticket gets you into both games ($5 adult/$3 children under 13 and seniors), USF Students get in free. Should be pretty entertaining and a great warm up for a huge soccer match at 7 p.m. Hope to see you all there. Go Bulls! Eric
  5. We are still accepting contributions to help furnish the facility. Although we are moved in, any gifts now help with the debt management on the facility. You will still be able to be recognized. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email me. Eric
  6. Follow our Bulls Softball Team on the internet. We will have play-by-play coverage on GoUSFBulls.com for each USF game in the regional. Lenn Fraraccio, who helped us with our regular season coverage, will handle the broadcasts. If you'd like to follow the team on internet, just go to the home page and click the icon that indicates live coverage. GO BULLS! Eric
  7. Hey Everyone: Just a quick note as I'm packing up my office for our move on Friday, we will be the last staff to move in. So starting next week that is where you can find everyone...coaches, ticket sales, Bulls Club, etc. E.T. the Hall of Fame area is still being designed, part of the reason why an open house won't be held until later in the summer. There will be some aspects related to football but this is an all sport Hall of Fame and will be dedicated to the accomplishments of all our athletic programs (including some information on riflery and swimming, our only two National Championships). It is my understanding, each team will have an area dedicated to their sport. If anyone has any photos or memorabilia of historical significance they would like to donate or loan, please feel free to contact me. As always everyone thanks for your support. Eric P.S. If you haven't already, your Bulls Club annual contribution is due by May 30. If you need an invoice, contact our office and we will get one out to you. Thanks again.
  8. No official date for an open house as although we are moving in, it is not completely finished. It will be another month before all of the finishing touches are done. We are probably looking at doing something closer to football season as a kick off to the new year. I will as always keep you posted as these decisions are made. Thanks. Eric
  9. We would like to invite you to join us for an announcement concerning the Director of Athletics at the University of South Florida during a press conference scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12th in the ball room of the Phyllis P. Marshall Center.  This event is open to the public.  We hope to see each of you there.  Go Bulls! Eric Here's the official release: May 11, 2004 MEDIA ADVISORY University of South Florida President Judy Genshaft will hold a press conference to announce the new Director of Athletics. The announcement will be made Wednesday, May 12, at 11:30 a.m. in the Phyllis P. Marshall Center Ballroom. At the press conference, Genshaft and the new Director of Athletics will make statements, followed by one-on-one media availabilities. USF officials will not make comments regarding the announcement prior to the press conference Wednesday.
  10. The travel brochure is being finalized and all packages should be available by the end of this month. You will have the option as always of buying tickets or doing the whole trip. They should be a little less expensive this year and will be better travel times because our travel is no longer on the team charter. Our packages will be commercial airliners that we are buying in groups. Stay tuned. eric
  11. We are pretty close to where we were last year at this point. We expect to wind up ahead of last years total though. Not exactly ready to release numbers because we are still renewing some of the larger season ticket accounts (ie. suites) that we can't really hold to a deadline. Sorry I can't be more definitive but be patient. Eric
  12. So far we are looking at about a dozen folks that have let me know one way or another. The game has been moved to 7 p.m., but we'll start the tailgate still at 4:30 p.m. An extra hour of cooking. Hope to see some more friendly faces as we begin the Bulls Invasion of Orlando. Eric
  13. Please make sure that if you are going over to officially let me know through my email address (soncrant@admin.usf.edu) or by phone (813) 974-3481 so that I may bring an appropriate amount of burgers, hot dogs, etc. Thanks everyone. Eric
  14. Hey Everyone: I two drive by it everyday to go to work ! I can let you know that a lot of the sidewalk/pavement work is being completed and today they planted some very large palm trees. So landscaping has started and without any delays, the move in is scheduled for the later part of May. Hope that helps. Eric
  15. Our event will shut down a few minutes before the first pitch. We will be there as the game is starting to cheer on the Bulls. Eric
  16. The link should work again as the information is back. Our web master had taken the facility photos link down to promote the speedline tournament last week. Let me know if you have any questions, so far we have raised $110,000 to furnish the facility. Much more to go. Thanks. Eric
  17. Hey Everyone: Someone suggested last week that we ut the equipment brochure on gousfbulls.com. It is now there. Click on the link to the photos, at the top is a paragraph prompting you to click here for the brochure, which included an itemized list. Please let me know if you have any questions. Eric
