  1. Christian: If you can't make it to the meeting, please feel free to call me in the Bulls Club at (813) 974-3481. We can get you taken care of and I can work with the Sherriff on the $25. Looking forward to meeting you. Go Bulls! Eric
  2. Yes, we are at Avila again this year. Trying to make it better each year!
  3. Haven't posted any of this before but the question on the Coach's Tailgate Golf Tournament made me realize some of you may be interested. I'll keep it brief. USF Baseball Celebrity Golf Tournament is Monday, January 31st at Cheval Golf and Country Club. Many former major leaguers will be on hand. Team entry fees begin at $1,000 (no rate for individuals). Hole sponsorships are $200. Inaugural USF Men's Soccer Golf Tournament is Friday, March 25th at the Claw. We are still looking for a title sponsor ($5,000) and presenting sponsors ($2,500). This is Coach Kiefer's first tournament. Entry will range from $175 for an individual to $800 for a foursome and hole sponsor combined. USF Volleyball Golf Tournament is tentatively scheduled for Friday, April 8th (I'll update when finalized) at the Claw. Foursomes begin at $300 with a Gold Sponsorship at $600. Those are the ones I am familiar with at this time. I will continue to post events like this unless Brad asks me to stop ! If you would like more information on any of these, feel free to email me at soncrant@admin.usf.edu or call me at my direct line (813) 974-3481. I'll have information on Around the Horns in the near future. If you recall last year we did receptions and luncheons. This year we are expanding to golf tournaments in some locations throughout the month of June. Stay tuned! Eric For more information on any of these tournament.
  4. Yes, that is correct. Our goal with this tournament was strictly to raise funds and make it a unique tournament as well as one of the marquis tournaments in the area. In two years, we have raised nearly $140,000 for the football program. We do sometimes have a need for volunteers for this tournament if anyone is interested in being a part of it. We let you do that for free! If anyone is interested you can email me at soncrant@admin.usf.edu and we can discuss specifics. Thanks as always. Go Bulls! Eric
  5. USF72 and all: No worries on the road that separates the schools. The tennis courts will go up to that road but will not replace it. So you will actually drive by it. The "road to nowhere" as I have heard it referred to which right now comes out by the baseball field and connects to the road that splits the two schools will not connect anymore. It will feed into a parking lot by the tennis courts. I'll stop by as often as possible today to answer any more questions such as this. Thanks everyone. Hope you are ready for some more exciting times in Bulls Country! Eric
  6. The USF Bulls Club will be hosting a watch party on Saturday, January 15th for the televised men's basketball game at Marquette. We will once again be at the Clubhouse Sports Cafe located on Fowler Ave. The game begins at 9 p.m. and all tables are first come, first serve. We will have our usual assortment of give aways, door prizes, information on the Bulls Club, etc. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email me. Go Bulls! Eric Soncrant
  7. This has been taken care of. I talked to our folks that handle the television and they had already made the phone call. Thanks for staying on top of us though. We don't always see the telecasts because we are at the games. You guys in many ways are our eyes and ears. Keep giving us feedback (constructive of course). Thanks again and Go Bulls! Eric
  8. That's where I'll help you. Let me get back to you on the exact rules and regulations for that day. We can probably do just about anything within reason as long as we let the authorities know up front what we plan to do. I'll get back to you as soon as I can on this. Go Bulls! Eric
  9. If you guys need help making sure you aren't bothered by anyone in between games with your tailgate, just let me know what you hope to do so that I can handle. I think this is a great idea and will plan on joining you out there. Keep coming up with these great initiatives. Go Bulls! Eric
  10. I'd love to see a bunch of the people from the board out there. I will personally be there. We tend to have a pretty good time at these and it's good just to see faces I don't get to see all the time. Go Bulls! Eric
  11. The USF Bulls Club will be hosting a watch party this Saturday at the Clubhouse Sports Cafe on Fowler Ave. for the USF vs. Michigan men's basketball game. Game time is 12 noon. We will have our usual freebies and door prizes. Hope to see you all there. Eric
  12. Velcro: You are correct in that the seats behind the basket require a minimum $1,000 contribution. The seats that are reserved are typically for recruits and their families or special guests of the coach. I believe the seats behind the one basket (opposite of the band) are used for player family tickets. But their are some season ticket holders mixed in their. Eric
  13. We have discussed that but I don't foresee opening the lower bowl to everyone in the near future. The reason being is to protect those individuals that have paid the donation, bought the tickets, and are showing up. It wouldn't be fair to them. Eric
  14. Jewbull: In response to your comment about the minimum $2,000 gift to purchase seats in the lower level, all but about 8 seats in the lower level are sold.  We can't force people to attend but once we made the announcement of joining the Big East, the few seats that were available were sold.  There is a very high demand for these seats and not enough to go around.  Just thought I'd make sure you had all the facts.  Go Bulls! Eric
  15. Hey Everyone: We will have watch parties at all of our usual locations. For a complete list go to the Bulls Club (Athletic Association) page on www.goUSFBulls.com. Go Bulls and don't forget to go to the men's basektball game following the broadcast on Saturday. Eric
  16. Hey Bulldad: Watch parties will be at all of our usuals places. The Clubhouse on Fowler Barnacles in Brandon Beef's in Wesley Chapel Beef's in St. Petersburg Elmers in South Tampa Bedrock Cafe in Lakeland Gecko's in Bradenton Murray Brothers in Orlando Hope to see every one out on Wednesday night to cheer on the Bulls! Eric
  17. Hope to see many of you this afternoon. Make sure if you do make it to say hi to me. I will be there, at the volleyball game at 7 p.m. and Midnight Mania at 11:00 p.m. Come out and show your Bulls Pride. Eric
  18. The bookstore was taken over by Barnes and Nobel. They handle all the ordering and such. If you have any ideas for shirts you'd like, Mike Stuben now handles the merchandise for athletics and has done, in my opinion, a fantastic job. You might let him know your ideas and in the future he may have the flexibility to do some special game shirts. He handles all the stuff you see at the stadiium now. Go Bulls! Eric
  19. We have a few people that currently by the flex pass. It's normally $5 per person for each of those events so if you think you'll attend quite a few of them, it is definitely worth it. Call the sales office if you'd like more information. 1-800-GoUSFBulls!
  20. Hello everyone: If you haven't seen anything as of yet, you have an opportuntiy to support the men's basketball program by participating in their golf tournament, sponsored by CGM Services. It will be held on October 25th at Tampa Palms Golf & Country Club. Shotgun start at 12 noon. Cost per foursome is $1,500 and individuals are only $375. Hole sponsors cost $250. If you'd like for me to send you registration form through email or fax, please let me know. Hope to see you out there. Go Bulls! Eric
  21. All of you are cordially invited to join us for the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Athletic Training Facility on Friday, Oct. 15. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the presentation of the Alumni Association Awards Presentation followed at 4:30 p.m. by the Ribbon Cutting. Beginning at 5 p.m. there will be guided tours of the facility. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give me a call. Go Bulls! Eric 974-3481
  22. Confirmed for Lakeland at Bedrock Cafe. It was added after I posted, my apologies. To see the complete list log on to www.GoUSFBulls.com and click on the football watch parties prompt. Thanks everyone. Go Bulls! Eric
  23. The Student Bulls Club will be holding a watch party at Margarita Mama's at the University Mall. We don't list it with the others because they promote it through their membership. But that might be another good location. The most attended ones will be that one, Clubhouse, and Beef's in St. Petersburg.
  24. The Bulls Club recommends that those interested in watching televised USF football road games, attend a watch party at one of the following locations.  If you want to confirm if the game is being televised that week, please contact the location.  We look forward to seeing you there.  Go Bull! Saint Petersburg - Beef O'Brady's on 37th Ave. USF Area - Clubhouse Sports Cafe on Fowler Ave. South Tampa - Elmers Sports Bar and Grill at 5206 S. MacDill Ave. Pasco County - Beef O'Brady's at 27315 SR 54 West Sarasota/Manatee - Gecko's Grill & Pub at 4310 E. SR 64 Brandon - Barnacles Restaurant at 926 Providence Rd. The game will be broadcast on ABC 28 and should also be a part of the ESPN Gameplan package.
