  1. You are right on the SBC, it was a mental mistake.  I've corrected it.  Sorry about that.
  2. I beleive there is another post on this but seeing people only like to read certain things and then judge, here is what USF is doing. The SBC members can make the trip for $105.  This inlcuded bus transportation, two nights hotel, lower level game ticket and pregame tailgate.  Rutgers is offering a $300 scholarship to students but I'm sure that trip is costing more and the students there will have to pay something. Student government is doing a package for $120 for students that included bus transportation and two nights hotel.  It does not include game ticket.  Still a good value to make the trip for less than $200. These efforts have been publicized through email to students, articles in the Oracle and ads through the Oracle.  Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your political views, our state government is not subsidizing a student trip.  If you have any questions on this, please don't hesitate to ask.  Go Bulls! Eric
  3. That would be us. We will do it on your priority based on being a donor and season ticket holder. If you made special requests, we will do our best to accomodate but can not guarantee. Thanks to those that are backing us on this. As I pointed out it a previous thread, if you don't believe thats the per person cost, call a charter company and price it out. Divide by the number of seats and you'll realize why all these airlines are going out of business. ;D Eric
  4. We only have about a dozen spots left on the charter so if you are considering it, now would be the time to do it. Eric
  5. The Omni is sold out. The Players Package now includes the Hilton less than a block away. Eric
  6. Bullman: Our package includes a welcome reception, ground travel to and from the game. We don't have anything listed at $189 but I'm assuming you are referring to the Courtyard. Those are added costs as well. If you get something cheaper...go for it. Enjoy your time in Charlotte. Eric
  7. Hey Guys: The reason the inclusive packages are so expensive is because it is not cheap to charter a plane. That's why there is such a drop off from the package with flight to the packages without flight. If you don't believe call a charter company and request an estimate on a plane and then divide it by the number of seats on the plane. It doesn't come out to $200 per person. Hope to see you in Charlotte. Eric
  8. Mike: It's not for me to decide what is of value to each individual or not. I'm simply posting options for those that are still interested. I think it is great you got a cheap flight. I hope people can find less expensive ways. Charter flights are not inexpensive to put on. That is what are breakdown is per person. No profit is being made from this. It's just a different way of traveling. Go Bulls! Eric
  9. Our travel partner has added a flight only option for the bowl game. It is the same as the charter flight and costs $650 per person. Leaves Tampa at 8:00 a.m. on the 30th and leaves Charlotte at 10:00 a.m. on the 1st. This must be ordered through Worldtek, either through the website or the 1-800 number. Go Bulls! Eric
  10. Hey guys: Don't really have the ability to give accurate counts so we aren't going to. It's been a busy morning and afternoon so far and we hope it continues. I'm sure as we progress we will put some information out through local media. Thanks. Eric
  11. Hey Everyone: We are currently working on getting either more rooms at the Omni or at a comparable hotel that is next door or across the street. Those packages will be available again as soon as we finalize details. Eric
  12. The Bulls Club and Athletic Department will have tickets to purchase pretty much up to a couple days prior to the bowl game. Obviously the sooner the better. Eric
  13. The team will be staying in Charlotte for New Years and will be having a private get together for them and their parents. They will not be at the Bulls Club New Years Eve Bash. Eric
  14. We are still finalizing all the details on it. It was tough to plan a New Years Eve party not knowing whether or not where we should be planning it. You can purchase tickets to the New Year's Eve Party even if you are not buying one of our packages. It will most likely be an all inclusive evening with entertainment, food and beverage. There will be a definite USF feel to it and Vicki, myself, Doug Woolard and others will most definitely be there. The team will not be at it. We hope to have it at the Omni but there are some space issues. We have a hotel a few buildings down that has space available and that is our backup plan. More details to come but that is where we are at. Eric
  15. Hi Everyone: The letter was dropped in the mail on Thursday, so some people will receive it today (Saturday). The letter was sent to Bulls Club members, season ticket holders, and corporate sponsors. It gives those that our supporting us throughout the year a little extra thank you for their efforts. If you didn't receive one it means you haven't made a gift to athletics and you are not a season ticket holder. You will be able to access the website beginning late Monday afternoon. All the more reason to support USF Athletics by becoming a member of the Bulls Club. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask one of us at the game today or call us on Monday. Go Bulls! Eric
