  1. At least Clucko the Chicken picked USF. http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2004/Predictions/Staff_Picks.htm
  2. I just found that UConn broadcasts video live on the net, but it costs $15 per month.  That would be cool, but I think I'll pass for one game. http://www.real.com/partners/uconn/?pcode=cptv&cpath=R1R&rsrc=cptvhs_sched Just found the radio braodcast here: http://www.wili.com/ I guess I'm answering my own questions.
  3. Is there a live gametracker or UConn net radio for tonight?
  4. I am reading in some places that Pitt gets the BCS bowl no matter what happens with our Bulls. Others say that if Pitt loses, Cuse gets the bid. Does anyone know the real story?
  5. Brad, I think my point total is only 29. I must defer the prize to Astro.
  6. I'm afraid Richmond will be too much for our boys. Hope I am wrong.
  7. I think these 11am games and losing (of course) will really hurt the season ticket sales for next year. What will be gained by having WVU (and maybe FAMU/UCF) on the schedule will now be negated by this year's schedule changes and performance. I would not be surprised if season tix actually decline come next year. Come August when the count comes out, we will all be discussing how shocked we are with the lack of support.
  8. Guys, this press release says absolutely nothing except that there will be a game called the whatever Classic at RayJay every year. USF and FAMU just happen to be the teams for the inaugural game. It says nothing about USF and/or FAMU always being a participant. I am sure the papers will ask all the questions we are and there will be an article clearing it all up in tomorrow morning's editions.
  9. ...and possibly break it again if the following home game is WVU.
  10. If the Miami game really happens, I wonder what type of ticket allocation we would get. It would be great for that to be an option to season ticket holders to get good seats in the OB. Does anyone think we could have more than 10 or 15,000 there including students?
  11. There was enough yellow shirt security to handle a football game for maybe 1200 people. Think this was a result of the nba fiasco? Also, I was happy to see there was no usher guarding the student section behind the basket. A few of us moved down there with no issues.
  12. Thanks, Jim. Interesting that someone thought of all this when writing the legislation. For FAU, the FAMU game will not count as a home game or in the attendance figures because FAMU is 1AA. This now sounds like a stupid move for FAU.
  13. Bulls easily missed 7-8 shots within 5 feet that were putbacks, 2nd/3rd offensive rebounds, simple open layups, etc. Should have had at least 15 more points with their eyes closed.
  14. There has also been talk of FAU on our schedule at home next year along with FAMU. Now that would be strange that they both play us at RayJay and then play each other at RayJay.
  15. I just saw some signs on Dale Mabry that the Hillsborough County Fair is this weekend at RayJay. Hopefully, that will draw some fair riders/families to the game to make a day of it. Didn't they have a deal the last time we crossed paths that with a game ticket you could buy a ride wristband for dirt cheap?
  16. Won't matter if we win out and have to use TTU this year.
  17. Would Cincinnati be invited back to Hawaii no matter who they played?  They weren't very nice visitors last time, right? The best that could happen to the Bulls would be to play Virginia in Orlando. We would send a ton of fans and it would be a big boost to play an ACC school nearby.
  18. 2 items: Why are we always so secretive about what is happening with the schedule? Not a good sign that FAU has to consider moving a home game to Tampa to boost their attendance numbers - they are already in a very bad situation regarding the new attendance requirements. I think the attendance requirements should only apply to your "regular" home field. This is a big out for teams to sell a "home" game to a big name opponent and play at their stadium to meet the requirments. If this flies, I think you will see teams in trouble like the lower MAC play a "home" game against Ohio State in Columbus.
